Quaint nostalgic1950/60s decor, clean rooms comfortable beds, with unique choice of only a radio or NO technology to enjoy the times of the past! But if you can’t let go, enjoy streaming on a Smart TV (e.g.ROKU, Fire). Note the dog treat next to the fine China tea cup! Yes, pets are welcome!! Goodbye LaQuinta!Just off I-70/83 bear Oakley, KS where the Legend of Buffalo Bill was born! Walking distance from Tres Hermanos where you’ll enjoy delicious authentic Mexican food. Enjoy Oakley Park’s Dog park, swimming pool, playgrounds, & picnic tables with grills.

Great place to stay, the owner and his wife are the nicest people, the staff that works there are more than accommodating, The motel from the outside might not be the most appealing but the rooms are kept extremely clean and spacious, but most importantly you can’t beat the price. I was up in Oakley working and stayed at the motel for several weeks and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else

Right off I-70 in Western Kansas. Room was barebones. Serviceable. Barely clean. Great price. Helpful service.

You won't beat that price for what you get. The bed and pillows were very comfy. It was quiet, and clean. They had a large TV with Sling, so connecting to my favorite streaming services was easy. It won't wow you, but once again, the price is basically unbeatable for what you get. Also, I woke too late to enjoy it, but apparently there's a nice free breakfast. If I could change just one thing it would be the towels. Everything else was great. My only

My husband and one of our pilot cars stayed here one night and was given a pilot rate the next night I arrived to stay on my way to meet him in Colorado and I was charged a good $10 more and was told that was the pilot car rate. A week later all three of us got a room and the rate went up another $10 and was told he was giving us a deal. The last time we stayed the rate went up AGAIN. The couple are up there in age and maybe they just need to close shop and retire. The rate they are wanting to charge for the rooms are NOT worth it. Rooms are in desperate need for attention in upgrades and deep cleaning. Our last trip through last week we decided to stay elsewhere do to the inconsistencies of pricing. To top it off the need to change the name because there is no breakfast free or charged at this place.

Had to get a refund. I like Motels so I can have a cigar outside of my door, but the AC didn't work in the hottest week of the summer, I told the clerk I needed a good AC. When I called to complain I heard the same clerk say that the AC didn't work in that room. It wasn't clean, the toilet hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests, and they placed me nest to a local who was living there and cussing in his room. I just packed my stuff and went and got a refund and drove back to Colby. Nice lady owner, but the condition of the room was pretty bad for $70.

Very nice couple in the office. I enjoyed talking to them and very friendly. It served it's purpose which was a place to sleep for the night. No bugs. Does have Roku so you can watch Netflix Disney+ etc...

Actual blood stains and cigarette burns in the sheets. I'm ok with a cheap room... but please at least have clean sheets!!! Plus it cost me $79, which isn't cheap enough to justify these sheets. Oh and.... went to turn on my bed side lamp... yeah, it's definatly a red bulb ?. I'll update if I get any knocks in the door while reading tonight.

I’m on the road and just needed a place to lay my head for a few hours. I had read the mixed reviews and decided to check it out. Walking into the office, you first notice an overwhelming smell of animal (mouse/rat/cat?) excrement. My traveling companion asked to see a room. Carpet hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time, bedspreads were visibly filthy, candy wrappers on the floor right where you walked in. You can tell if the place won’t even vacuum the floor a bit, you can bet they didn’t bother to wash the sheets. I don’t have super high standards when I’m traveling cross country by motorcycle and reach that point where I just need to stop for the night, but this place was unacceptable. I drove an hour north to the Frontier Inn in Oberlin and am extremely happy to be spending $10 more per night for a great and very clean place.
