I've been banking with commerce for around 15 years but I'm am closing my account after the last few. I live in Texas and they won't let me update my name on my account (from a distance) after getting married and legally changing my name, so now my social security card and Photo IDs don't match my credit/debt card. More of a big deal, 3/4 months, my automatic transfers from my commerce account to my joint account with KY wife (bill account) did not go through on time even though I had confirmation that they would. 2 of the 3 didn't go through at all, so my bills were taken before my deposit went in. Commerce banks solution was to send me a$50 gift card for messing up my payment schedule. Insulting. Lastly, I was on the phone with Mike, a branch manager I think. He never followed up with me as he said he would and I haven't been able to reach him to discuss my banking issues further. Once my money is out of my accounts, I'm out and can't recommend enough that you stay away if you want access to your money when you need it.

Do not open a business account with this bank, if you want to wait weeks for paperwork to get filed. Get to re-file, everything that you’ve done. Not once, not twice, but three times. Due to them loosing your paperwork?!? Choose commerce. I would’ve given 0 stars if that was possible. ???

I’ve been a Commerce customer for 30+ years and have had no problems or issues. My last two trips in the bank I was helped quickly and correctly navigating IRA’s.

This bank has served my business and personal needs for the last 16 years. They have always gone over and above each and every time I've ever needed anything. I get the personal service that makes me feel like I mean something to them. The staff is absolutely the best! Thank you!

I went here to cash a commerce check that someone wrote me and was told it would be $8.00 to cash their check. That is crazy. Lady said it makes you want to open an account with us, I said no it makes me disappointed in your bank. What a joke! 0 stars is what you deserve, do better commerce! ?

This place is a joke. They can't even do very basic money exchanges. Haha I thought this was a major bank, but it seems to be some ... well... no clue what they think they are.

They say you can open an account online but you really cannot. They take ALL of your personal info, but you have to go to a branch to get account number. What's the point? Customer service on the phone was clueless. Not just the way I 'feel", it's my personal experience. Already tried calling customer service. Deleted my account.

Would rather lose 4 dollars cashing a check at Walmart then ever put a dime in this bank again. Out of three different banks I use as personal use. I rank this one in 10th place.
