Eastgate Shopping Center is a nice little shopping area with a mix of stores and dining. It features a Salvation Army thrift store, described as a good find with great stuff, and a Harbor Freight. For dining, there is a choice between a Mexican restaurant and a more authentic cafe-style place inside a Latino market. This market, or tienda, is a bustling place with a panadería, carnicería, and a restaurant serving tasty beans and rice. The center is also near a Taco Bell, laundromat, Quick Trip, and the Olathe Community Center. It is a pleasant place to gather and explore for an hour or so.

The Salvation army here was a good find! Great organization and the help was professional and polite. Very impressed with this store, we found a ton of great stuff!
