“My mom and I came into town for a family emergency and knew we were going to be stuck living in a hotel for an unknown period of time. As you can imagine, it is hard to eat healthy for a reasonable price without access to a kitchen to cook for yourself. This is where Fuel really saved us. Their weekly premade meal drops on Sunday would see us through the week with very affordable meals that were healthy and filling. I tend to be a picky eater when it comes to food substitutions like gluten-free flours or dairy-free foods, but the fine folks at Fuel make everything taste good in its own right - nothing feels like a forced or weird substitution, it's just straight-up yummy food. The cookie dough bites, chocolate-covered protein bars, chicken bites, breakfast burritos, and shepards pies were consistent favorites of ours!

As luck would have it, we were also stuck in a hotel for Thanksgiving with nowhere to go. We ended up pre-ordering the pre-made Thanksgiving meal from Fuel and I can't overstate how delicious it was, let alone how affordable it was. We got turkey, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy, and yams for our order and we were fed by the 5-person order for 2 meals a day for about 4 days, and we still had leftover yams in the end! The directions for warming it up were for a conventional oven, but the food was already cooked up so beautifully that our dinky little hotel microwave was still able to whip us up a delicious hot meal. The turkey was herby and tender, the yams were cooked in a delicious brown sugar and spice mixture, the mac and cheese was still gooey right out of a microwave, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were rich and tasty. If you ever have the chance, I would seriously recommend catering from Fuel, as they really know how to prep an amazing meal.

For a month in a hotel, Fuel kept us feeling sane, fulfilled, and healthy without totally breaking the bank. Thank you!”

“My experience with this store at 119th is mostly online order and pickup. It is an awesome service that I love! I’ve always had great experiences until today. The shopper that brought out my order was awful. Not sure what happened to make her so cranky but my interaction with her was horrible. She was rude, a little aggressive and seemed irritated from the moment she came up to my truck. If she sees this, she knows. I love this store and want to continue using the online pickup but never again do I want that lady to do it. Like I told her as she was leaving my truck, I hope she has a better day. I’m hoping the shoppers see the names and she remembers mine and never takes my shopping order again.”
