This is a rating of zero. I have never been so hurt by an employee. "isaiah Joplin" from hertz. I was told it is a common practice that you reserve cars but they don't have to honor those. I was left stranded without a vehicle. The utter disrespect i can not let go without saying please never go here. If you have encountered this employee please report him. The words he used to me will make me file every complaint i can.

It’s not only this location but through the hertz franchise, the customer service is terrible. They really don’t care and really show it by the way I’ve been treated most of the time. I rented once and never again. I have recently had to rent a car for over a month and Enterprise has been such a pleasure working with them. I could easily call or walk in to extend my rental if need be. My mother rented from this hertz location and she tried to renew and they said they weren’t able to do it over the counter, after closing her original contract, they tried to rent it out to her again for more money! The “gentleman” was rude and he had my mother leave the building with no car out into the cold with my 5 year old nephew. It’s a huge inconvenience, I had to go pick my mother up and suggested she use Enterprise and she happily was able to get her situation accommodated(given the fact my mother has been under stress as she was involved in a hit-and-run accident and this situation Hertz didn’t help to that current stress) Thank you for other great rental companies out there. I refuse to give Hertz any more of my business, no matter if I get AAA discount. Enterprise will usually accommodate your needs.

Worst customer service ever. The young kid at the counter didn't want to be there. I've rented from them before with zero issues. He made it so hard to do business with. I canceled my reservation and went 2 Buildings up to Avis and was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Agreed with many reviews that management (Isaiah) at this location are completely dishonest. Billing dispute remains unresolved due to them closing out my reservation incorrectly and erroneously charging an extra day. My President Circle status has gotten me absolutely nowhere in escalating or resolving, so what chance do the rest of customers expect in resolving a highly likely dishonest upcharge? Do yourself a favor if you need to rent in Olathe and go up the road to Avis.

Trash service..... booked a car online, then show up to pick up the car and the guys says "the system will allow you to book anything online, but I don't have any cars available". Don't rent you car here - go anywhere else like Enterprise or Avis.

Twice now I've made a reservation online, and they haven't had a car to give me. I tried calling the store this time around, but no one answers it. Thankfully Avis is right next door and they have plenty of cars. Hertz, you have lost my business for good.

Do not ever go here! It is absolutely horrible! Worst rental agency ever. They don’t even have the cars that they say they have then you get stuck with the cancellation fee. Hertz should shut this franchise down immediately. What they are doing is illegal!

Worst rental experience I have ever had. These guys obviously want to go out of business. Showed up an hr late due to a delayed flight to a prepaid rental and they said they had already given my car to another customer. They made no effort to contact other agencies. Clearly their reputation is not very important to them. Do not go here!!!! Ever!!!! $365 down the drain. How is this behavior legal.

Pizz poor customer service in the store and any Hertz customer line I could find. Your faked empathy was not helpful at all and your insistence that there was nothing you could do was pitiful. I'll never rent from HERTZ again. They are not about their customers satisfaction. My time and money was not a concern to them. And NEVER rent an electric car from a car rental place unless you know all about them.

I would not recommend this place to rent a car. I reserved a car for a business trip and when I showed up the management was rude and told me they didn't have a car for me. The said they would call me when one came in. It's been 5 days and still haven't received a phone call.

negative 1000 is the actual score. terrible customer service, both customer in person and the customer service number. NEVER EVER rent an elect vehicle from anyone unless you own one own one and know all the details.

I wouldn't even give this place a 1 star. Their "management" CJ is a horrible person with poor customer service skills. I paid for a vehicle 2 months in advance in full, I called week prior and a day prior as well to let him know I would be there between 1 and 2 he and both times everything was good to go. The day of pickup he rented my car out to someone else and told me I had to figure it out on mt own he didn't know what to tell me. I was traveling from Kansas to New Orleans with paid in full reservations there was no way I could cancel the reservations nor should i HAVE to. Hertz should have made it right! I was in tears and CJ could not have care less. There are so many reviews about CJ the company really needs to pay more attention to whom they put into authority there. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUN FROM THIS LOCATION.! Travel to Lawrence KS Hertz they will treat you right!

I will never rent a car from Hertz at this location again. We were getting ready to leave for a vacation on a Saturday, so we went to pick up our rental car that we had reserved 2 weeks earlier only to find out that they didn't have a car for us. The manager told us that they didn't have any cars available and he would call us if anyone returned a car before they closed. He then proceeded to tell us they had a pickup. We took the truck and then after leaving on our trip we found out the back door would not lock. Meaning, every night we had to empty out the vehicle. I felt the manger needed training in empathy and compassion. Guess those are learned things and not taught things. Beware!

This place is a joke especially CJ his customer service is absolutely horrible and he is super rude! My mom paid the FULL amount for a rental 2 months In advance, called them multiple times confirming and even a day in advance making sure everything’s good. We drive 35 minutes to this place and without apologizing or anything he said “we got rid of your car and we can’t do anything about it nor do we have any cars but call this number they’ll help”. I do not recommend this place at all.
