First of all let me tell you that this place treated my mom with the up most respect and care, I dont care what you say they are top notch when it comes to care for your loved ones and family too, dont let me forget that part.Im sure ceartn people have had different experiences but im just speaking on mine for the first time after a two time experience from 2018 and 2024.first time was my best friend from cancer god rest his soul and my beautiful fun loving mother.Man i miss my mom..But anyways i have to give them a shout out and good review for how i was treated both times,Oh and dont let me forget the chaplin J.R. a very humble guy appreciate the prayers and god bless the staff there as well 🫡 ...

It is difficult to adequately express our gratitude for the exceptional loving care that my sister received at the Hospice House of Olathe.
She had spent the last few months of her life in a nursing home during which time she continued to decline. Near the end her body even became rigid and contracted.
Once she was transferred to The Hospice House you could actually see her body begin to relax and unfold. It was an amazing sight. She was finally at peace in a wonderfully caring and supportive environment.
The facility is beautiful. The nursing staff was super - so caring, attentive and supportive.
For my sister The Hospice House was the perfect place for her to "Let Go and Let God."

I had the ability to witness the care of the Chaplain, Nurses, Nurse practitioners, Cna’s and bath aides to the housekeeping and volunteers. They cared for my loved one with a great deal of empathy and care. I watched them pay attention to the furrow of her brow to ensure she was not in pain, to a tear of sadness or fear or to ensure the words of I love you were heard by us when spoken softly. The weeks she spent in their care were met with compassion to every member of the family and to my loved one. This was for me one of the most difficult times in our Families life but we witnessed with such profound kindness and empathy how we were all treated. The staff and volunteers care about their patients and families. Thank you.

This review is mostly for the Home Hospice side of Olathe Hospice house. My family was somewhat lost when we knew we needed to put my mom in hospice. We did not know anyone that had previously had hospice care and so we spent a lot of time interviewing different facilities. When my dad went to the hospice facility after visiting 2 others he was amazed by how much more attentive the staff was and how the facility just had so much more of a feeling of being in a home environment than other places.Knowing how good their facility was we decided to opt for home hospice through the hospice house. My dad prided himself on taking care of my mom all through her illness. She spent the last 4 months at home and the home hospice staff was really just incredibly supportive and accommodating. They would reply to texts at all hours and provided all the necessary diapers etc that he needed. Additionally the nurses were warm and caring and felt like they were putting their heart into it. When my dad had to leave town for a trip and put my mom in respite for 5 days they were incredibly supportive and made the trip a breeze. When my mom finally passed in the facility in the last 2 days of her life they made everything as comfortable as possible for my mom and did their best to accommodate my dad.I really can't recommend them more!!

This is truly an amazing facility that gave my mom the most amazing care in her final days. Everyone from the nurses to the aides and the volunteer staff are absolute angels.

Wonderful people. My mother, Joan, stayed for six days at OHHH and we could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, caring nursing staff. Taking the weight of caregiving off our shoulders, they allowed us to just 'be' with Mom. They were accommodating in every possible way of our large family and I cannot say "Thank You" enough for the work they do here. This facility and its staff were a Blessing for Mom and for all of us.

My father, Rudolph Bade was only here about 24 hours. But the staff was so kind and attentive. to both him and our family. Took such a huge load off of my mother and she could hold his hand and be his wife and not caregiver. Our whole family is extremely thankful to all he staff at this facility. We have the three heart shaped pillows he was given hung up at my mothers. Thank you so much for helping my father pass with dignity.

Each and every contact with everyone was very professional, caring and helpful. For over two weeks all medical, housekeeping and maintenance staff were available and eager to assist our mother and us in any way possible. Could not have asked for a better experience.

The people here provided excellent compassionate care for my mother-in-law in her final days. The facility is also nice with many comfortable places to sit in the common areas, and the rooms are spacious.

Our son Scott passed away today at hospice house and we just want to thank them for the comfort and care they gave our son while he was there. All the nurses were fantastic and did all they could for him.
