Their Chinese food is so good!! Their fruits and veggies are pretty and stay fresh longer then the ones at Walmart or Aldi. And last but not least if they don't have something you can fill out a form at customer service and they will try and get it for you!

Hy-Vee still feels like the home town grocery store. They are involved in the community beyond running a great. Business. I appreciate their variety and availability of items from specialty goods to flowers to a pharmacy. ❤️

They sell quality foods that are hard to find in KC. Such as saucy spoon baked beans and Virgil's root beer. Staff is friendly too

When I worked at Hy-Vee, you were supposed to take the customer to the item. I worked for the company for 17 years. What set us apart was taking them to the item. Just telling somebody what aisle it is in. Is not the way it should be done. The three employees that I talked to none of them knew who the store director was. The store didn’t even have the item I needed. I walked past multiple employees no one said hello. There were no helpful, smiles in no aisles. I would also like to say that changing your format to where you have a store director coverings two stores. It’s truly a joke . The entryway was dirty. The floors were filthy. You can tell the attention to detail is not there anymore. Also, there is no need to respond to this comment. I won’t be shopping there anymore.

I had a fantastic experience with the bakery for my 25th birthday cake. I gave a few photos for inspiration and they did an amazing job in a short time frame! The cake turned out just how I wanted it, tasted delicious, and was a very reasonable price too! Will definitely go back!
