This was the 2nd vehicle we've purchased from Bryan White. He did a great job of getting us the deal we were looking for, and even suggested some options that we never considered. Will definitely return to McCarthy for our future auto buying needs!

TOP NOTCH SKILLS and SERVICE! I had the opportunity to meet the genuinely incredible Service Manager (Jake / Jacob) and the two awesome mechanics who worked on my 15 passenger Chevy Express van. I wanted to thank them. They not only took the time to meet me, they were kind in answering my questions about my van. Not only did they do a great job of repairing my brakes after they went out, but they are among the kindest people I have ever met. These guys are caring and honest. The mechanics and the service manager were so patient and thorough in explaining what repairs were made and what additional repairs would be needed when I'm able. My funds are super tight right now, so I was happy to see that their prices were lower than another super popular repair shop in Olathe. It's very obvious that the guys at McCarthy in Olathe go over and above to take care of the vehicles & the owners. I know they cared about me as a person as much as they cared about fixing my van and that's something I'll never forget. It's obvious that the kindness of the manager is replicated in his crew . I would never want to go anywhere else. Best of all, I know this team isn't taking advantage of people. I think women can feel reluctant to trust mechanics due to our past experiences at other places. THIS team is different. With the Service Department at McCarthy Chevrolet in Olathe, you're in great hands of expert guys with huge hearts.

Oh my goodness!!! Gary was amazing!! He helped me with a diagnostic test for my car.The check engine light has been on.He told me that a diagnostic test was needed to tell them and myself what was going on. At first,I was very reluctant. I didn't want to pay the fee for the diagnosis.He even gave me a break on some of the cost.I'm glad I did!! It was worth every penny. He was very frank and truthful. I appreciate his integrity and his honesty. If I ever have to go there again,I'm requesting him!! Thank you Gary for your amazing customer service and your care.

Dropped the car off at 12:30 and was ready to pick up at 2:20. Had 2 new batteries, oil and filter replaced and rotated tires. All that was quick. Wish you all would do engine bay wash on request. Gary Hibdon is good.

When I went into the dealership, I told them exactly what I wanted. When I left the dealership, I left with exactly what I wanted. The experience was phenomenal, and the staff and sales people were absolutely wonderful to work with. Jeff Alstatt was the person I dealt with the most on my buying experience and he was great!

I had called for an appointment for my Chevy Trax as the check engine light had come on. I took my car in and was checked in promptly by Brian B. I was planning to wait on my car as it had been driving fine so I thought it would be an easy fix but after checking in Brian told me that my car would need a more complete diagnostic check by the engine mechanics and would need to be left overnight. I was able to call and find a ride home. Before I had left Brian told me that the mechanic had determined the problem was with the Turbo and would take several hours to repair. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call by 11AM the next morning that my car was ready. Brian explained that some staff had stayed late and some in early to get the job done. I was also pleased that the extended warranty I had purchased in 2010 covered the entire cost of the repair! Well done McCarthy!Service: Transmission

Every time I walk into the service area, it is very uncomfortable. There has only been one person that has ever acted like they wanted to take care of me. I believe his name was Jordan. There is a little too much ego going on. Definitely not a teamwork environment. I have taken my car to another dealership previously because of this reason, but came back to this one, simply because it is much more convenient, however, I don't plan to revisit this location again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was able to do a first right of refusal on a car and was told the exact price. It came in, we test drove it, loved it and bought it for the exact price we were told ahead of time. It was seemless. Mike who helped us was great!

I brought my GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4 to have a ( reprogram cluster ) error on my dash at 7am. When no one called by 3pm for an update, I called the service department and got no answer. Called back every hour and got no answer. The receptionist was nice enough to forward my calls but no one in service was answering there phones. When I got there and asked for an update, they hadn't even looked at my truck. They had someone look at truck and within 15 minutes said sorry we're going to have to replace the whole console for $1100 and oh by they way that will be $169 plus ( shop supplies) fee which no one explains to you when you book the appointment. That raises the cost to $200. When I asked what shop supplies were used, it ends up that it was paper for the floor and a piece of plastic.

I brought my pickup truck in for Takata air bag recall.It all went very smoothly, drove right into the garage, which was very well marked.They did the work and called me when it was complete. Picked up the truck, which was parked at an easy to access area inside the garage.I was pleased.

My experience and this review is with the McCarthy collision center.All aspects of this experience were pretty much horrible.1. The damage happened in November. They couldn’t get me in till January. I was provided with a date in January. I called the week before and they stated they forgot about me so I got pushed till February for evaluation. Then got pushed again to March for repairs2. My vehicle was drivable so I brought it in to have them do the evaluation. I was told that the side of my vehicle was going to be replaced. My rail, mirror, all three side panels and was given a date to drop off. I called the week before to make sure they had all parts and were ready to begin working as soon as they got it. They confirmed. Drove by later that week. My vehicle is sitting in the parking lot untouched. I’m paying for a rental that I could have avoided. They told me there was a staffing problem which is fine, but instead of telling me so I can return my rental car and drive it till you are ready to fix it I’m paying for a rental car. Next week still sitting there untouched just in back lot. They did waive my deductible cost to help cover the unneeded cost of a rental so they get 2 stars for that.3. They called saying damages were not as bad as expected and repair time would be faster. However I was told my entire side would be painted. It was not. I was told my mirror would be replaced. It was not. I was told my rail would be replaced. It was not. I had prior scratches on the exterior but there are more and they clearly knew about it because they touched up the paint. The interior door has a crack in it that wasn’t there before. The interior of my vehicle was trashed with dust from them doing work on it. They could have wiped it down. So they didn’t have the parts that they said they did and they didn’t do the repairs I was promised. And I’ll have to take it back in again to have these repairs done but they can’t tell me when that will be.Overall the experience was extremely frustrating. The communication is horrible and overall I’m dissatisfied with my experience here.
