This was my first visit at the new location and my experience was that everyone was friendly and helpful. I was on the wait-list for a shuttle ride back to my apartment, but the service was completed so quickly, there was no need to go home. I also got an unexpected discount, and a few added services were relatively inexpensive.

I went to McCarthy Nissan for 15 years and always had excellent service. I thought I had scheduled with McCarthy and when I went for my appointment at their location I found out about you. Why wasn’t I told when I scheduled the appointment? Found out I wasn’t the only one. Then I needed at brake light which you didn’t have. O’Reilly’s was suppose to brink one. Wasn’t there an hour later. Then your 3% charge to use a credit card is outrageous. Needless to say I won’t be returning. And I will have to rethink purchasing a Nissan next year. I don’t remember his name but the gentleman who took care of me in the service department was very good. He just has a bad company to work with.

This is my 2nd time having my vehicle serviced at Nissan of Olathe and I was so disappointed both times. I know McCarthy Nissan was bought out very quickly by Nissan of Olathe after I arrived at my appointment and the Service Advisor told me. I went to the old location because no one had the decency to tell me that they moved. The level of service was unacceptable. I was told one thing and then the paperwork said something else. The Cashier chose to argue with me when I knew that I was right and the Service Advisor told me at the beginning of the appointment. No one seems very knowledgeable about what's going on and it really showed at my last appointment. I am looking at alternative options of places where I can Service my vehicle in the future. I've already contacted Elevated Nissan to discuss my options for future service visits. I received a discount on all my oil changes where I purchased the vehicle and was told that wouldn't be honored here. I purchased all 4 tires from previous dealership and was told I would get lifetime of the tires free rotations and was told that wouldn't be honored and I raised hell and got them to transfer that over but had to remind them again because no notes were placed in the computer. I was then told there would be a 3% surcharge for all credit card purchases which I've found out no other dealership charges their customer a fee. I told the Cashier that I would be paying in cash and after I left I looked at my invoice and there is still a 3% fee added on which I paid for unnecessarily. I am a very unhappy customer and don't feel the customer service level that I received at the dealership where I purchased and serviced my vehicle, McCarthy Nissan. There were 3 other customers in the showroom at the time of my appointment and they said that they would never return because of the way they were treated. They said that everything is so disorganized and no one knows what there doing. I wanted to give you all the benefit of the doubt my first appointment due to the drastic changeover, but nothing really changed the 2nd go around. I didn't even get a reminder e-mail and the sheet for the inspections is a joke. I don't even trust that the car was inspected properly because of previous service notes.

An absolute phenomenal team here! Their Sales, Finance and Service departments are the most honest, diligent staff I have ever encountered. Claudia (Sales) and Daniel (Finance) provided me with a buying experience that I am left in awe of. They didn't lure me with false promises, nor did they waste a second of my time. Their integrity, diligence and efficient way of communicating with me and engaging with their team and all parties involved resulted in a type of buying experience every person wishes to have.I am whole heartedly grateful to both Claudia and Daniel for helping me with this purchase and I strongly recommend this dealership to anyone seeking to purchase a car... new or used. New ownership seems to be much better than old ownership. Person who was in charge of my service actually told me I DIDN’T need a couple of things done that we thought we might. I always wondered if the last owners were doing services that weren’t required because every time I went in something was “wrong” that needed fixing even though my car was working fine. It was refreshing to have someone come out and say “hey you DON’T actually need this big expensive service”. I was actually not going to bring my car in to Nissan this time because I dreaded sitting there all day while something was “fixed” and I spent 1k or more. I was all prepared for a “I’ll get a second opinion” talk. But I will happily bring my car here in the future because of the way my car was handled under the new owners. My tech didn’t charge me for services I’d already agreed to pay for because I didn’t actually need them once they got a look into my car. My car was done in a decent time frame for what it was having done to it. If I had one thing to say it would be please get comfier chairs in the waiting area, after a few hours they aren’t great on the back and there’s not really anywhere to set drinks or purses on them. But that’s just a suggestion, service was great!

The staff that I spoke to was incredibly friendly! The service center has a waiting area with coffee, a handful of available electrical outlets, and limited seating.On Saturdays, this location’s service center is walk-in only and opens at 8AM. I arrived a few minutes after opening and was checked in within about half an hour. The center was a bit busy, so I was given an estimate of about 2 hours. My car was done a little over an hour after check-in, though.They have the option to make appointment requests online, BUT I would recommend calling instead. I don’t think my appointment form ever was received by them.As another note, a 3% surcharge is made for credit cards. They have posters with the information, but wanted to share the info as a heads up. If you’d like to avoid the fee, bring a debit card or cash.

Communication from the service department was terrible from beginning to end. I called days before my service appointment to double-check that the courtesy shuttle would be able to take me to my work when I dropped off my car. The person I spoke with stated they would be able to make that work. On the morning of my appointment, they took me to work no problem and said someone would pick me up in the afternoon. When they called to say that my car was ready, I asked to be picked up from work from the courtesy shuttle. The service rep gave me the shuttle phone number directly to call. I called and it was a different person from the morning, the person told me I should not have called that number and no one was supposed to give me their phone number. I called the dealership to explain what happened and the dealership asked for my work address to arrange the shuttle herself. When I gave her the address, she said I was too far away even though they are the ones that dropped me off that morning and I called days before to check. I had to call my husband to arrange for him to leave work and pick me up. When my husband arrived, the shuttle also arrived even though they told me I was too far... Their website also markets a free car wash with service, this did not happen. When I called the Service Manager to provide feedback about my experience and the miscommunications, he explained that they have had multiple people provide feedback about the communication issues, but did not offer an apology. When I told him about the car wash, he stated he did not know why that was on the website because they do not currently offer that and once again no apology issued. I wasn't looking for anything in return, but an apology not excuses would have been nice :)

I was in a bind as my current vehicle had a mechanical failure and had to be replaced quickly. I had no idea what I wanted, but after going to a few places Nissan of Olathe left the best impression on me. Working with James was very easy. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles we discussed and helpful. We were able to work out a deal that night and I picked up the car the next day. I would highly recommend working with these guys. Look up James when you go in.

It was great! From the moment we walked in, we were well taken care of. From the friendliness and expertise of Troy, our sales associate, to the amazing David in the financial department, it was a pleasure buying our New Kicks from them! We will definitely return here for future purchases!

My car was in the shop for 3 days for an oil change and checking the convertible rooftop as it was not collapsing fully. I was assigned Mitchell as my customer service rep. There was NO communication from him for 3 days. I stopped by the shop after work on the first day and was informed the oil change was completed but car was assigned to a tech who was not in that day. I stopped by on day 3 after not hearing back from Mitchell after leaving approx. 4-5 voice messages over the course of 3 days and was informed the car was completed. He never called with an estimate and had the work performed without my consent. Luckily, the repair was minor in that it was a faulty sensor chip. Lastly, as I went to pay my bill, I was informed that they charge a 3% service fee for credit cards. This fact was NEVER mentioned upfront to me. I should have been informed about this when I checked the car in for service.Not a returning customer - Liz Small

My sales rep Hunter Allee was amazing. Made sure I test drove my qx80 prior to my purchase. His attention to detail and knowledge of the vehicle was second to none.The entire sale team made sure I had an excellent warranty, oil change and tire rotation.I was so shocked of this amazing deal that was done for me. I hope everyone gets to have a similar experience from an excellent sales team.

Jeff Alstatt my client advisor really did a fantastic job. He explained the process in detail to me and I felt comfortable about the buying process. The finance manager was equally great. I would recommend buying or selling vehicles from this business.

They were quick, friendly, and the price was very reasonable. The full synthetic oil change cost less than the quick-change places, and they got me in and out within a couple of hours (also had the transmission fluid serviced and brake fluid). I plan to have all of my service work done here in the future. Also appreciate the free wi-fi so I could get some work done while I waited!

My Frontier’s engine had a catastrophic failure and left me on the side of the road. I called the dealership since it was still under warranty but the dealership couldn’t be bothered and were happy to leave me broken down and stranded on the side of the highway. Keep this in the back of your mind when considering buying a vehicle from McCarthy

I enjoyed working with Tom Schneider (salesman) to purchase a Nissan Rogue. When they didn't have one in the colors I wanted, Tom transferred a vehicle in from Joplin the same day. Impressive! It was a great car buying experience and I would highly recommend Tom and the McCarthy Nissan dealership!
