Didn't want to honor online and store advertised pricing. Apparently night manager was too "pre-occupied" per the cashier and refused to come to the checkout. Highly unprofessional, would not return to this Michaels.

The service was horrid. The person working the register, dressed like a goth (not the issue, just identifying) was so rude. She tried to hurry me through the register like I was causing her to have a bad day. Super unprofessional. When I asked to talk to manager that person was terribly unprofessional and hard to hear on the phone. Won't be coming back to this location. Get better staff.

This Michaels is very organized. * Everything is easy to find. They're well stocked as well, I tend to look for random things and to my surprise I always to find them here. * Staff are friendly and helpful, they're always on top of helping you with the discount. * They're also very quick with checking you out!! One of my favorite Michaels to visit. Highly recommend

This is the best place to go when you need anything crafty. They have really great prices and you can always get coupons. Their staff is very helpful and you can almost always find what you want. They have great seasonal and home decor as well. I always get inspired when I come to Michael's to create something unique.

I like this Michael's, it's a large-ish one and always seems to be well stocked with the basics. Good-but-not-huge selection of yarn; but, they make up for it in other areas (great beads & findings section.) It seems to be well-organized and always has looked neat when I've visited, even on busy sale days, when I expected the place to look wrecked. Checkout has always been reasonably quick & efficient for me.

I am a beginner crocheter and new to this entire craft thing. My review will be based just on the yarn section. Michael's yarns seem to be a touched cheaper than Hobby Lobby and comparable to WalMart. This is nice as it is a short stroll for me. The selection may not be as large as HL, but you will find a good amount of options. The section seems a little unorganized, just set up oddly, but it isn't hard to figure out where everything is. Check out seems a lot quicker and I love the Borders style line so the next person is the one who truly gets help. The service is friendly although maybe a bit over the top from some of the help. I didn't notice anyone on the floor to offer assistance, but they were very busy and I knew where I was going, I may have just missed them. Major pro, they are open on Sundays. So if you get the urge to craft you have some place to go. Michaels won me over for this fact alone.

This is my favorite Michael's Store. 1. This one just seems to have a bigger selection of items than some of the other ones. 2. The customer service is better at this one than others. They actually call for back-up at this store instead of letting you wait 5 deep. 3. This is the store that told me about their app that has the % off coupons and if for some reason the coupon on the phone is having trouble scanning, they have ones at the register to scan. 4. This store is clean and well maintain and organized. I always find what I am looking for here and they are 100% better than Hobby Lobby. They have more craft supplies, cooking supplies and better customer service.

There really needs to be a zero stars for places like this. Worst customer experience in a very long time. Needed a Wilton product so I stopped in, had to wait in line behind two other people while the two checkout ladies did everything they could do not do their job. When i thought the checkout lady was done with the women who returned $100.00 of what looked like tree branches the tree lady decided she might want a CD so there was a five minute discussion on was this a good Christmas CD. I commented that the checkout lady should just take the money and get on with it and I was told to just hang on, they were short staffed and corporate knows. I dropped my single item and left. Michaels will never see a dime of mine again. Called to let the manager know about my experience and was told the same sad story, when asked why she was not at a register I was told she was working in the framing department. I guess if you have nothing but time this might be the place to shop, not sure who you are but give it a shot if you've got more time the common sense.

I'd say it's pretty much your basic arts and crafts supply store. They also have a cake decorating section with lots of Wilton products. They also have various kinds of arts classes you can take for a reasonable price. I mainly go in here for some home decor and picture frames. Their frame selection is huge and every other week certain brands go on sale for 40% off. They also do custom framing, but it's expensive. I've used them for a few jobs and they are great. But make sure you check the KC Star and grab the 60% off coupon. One thing I'm not a fan of is they often seem under staffed. The lines can get long at check out and when you have a question you basically have to hunt someone down for an answer. But overall a great shop.
