Friendly staff and efficient, once you make it thru check-in. They didn't seen to care whether you had a scheduled appointment or not, it seems to run as first-come, first-served, regardless. It is a bit frustrating when you've taken time to register and sign-in beforehand and there is a line of walk-ups who push your 5 minute appointment to be 20 - 30 minutes late.
Also, the day I went there was no signage directing you towards the clinic, you just have to wander thru the store until you find them setup behind the fish tank area near the reptiles.

The Operation manager was great. She informed me of All steps and was great with my dogs. I saved almost 3 hundred dollars. You just have to be patient. The vet staff were great also thanks.

We left speechless:Today along with my daughter and 2 young grandsons entered the store with plans to purchase a small starter fish tank and a few fish for my grandsons. After inquiring & asking for advise from "Terry" an associate working in the Fish Dept about what type of fish we should get for the tank we picked out, she not only discouraged us from buying any fish & said we should choose a different kind of pet and then proceeded to insult us by telling us we were being inhumane if we chose to put more than 1 fish in the tank we wanted to buy and she also refused to sell us the 2 fish that we told her we wanted to purchase. She also said " what are you teaching your kids" when we told her we just wanted to get a small tank for 2 small fish so the kids would learn how to care for a pet. Her personal opinions were offensive and very hurtful. My 6 year old started crying and said he didn't want it happen like this when he came to buy a pet. We left the store very disappointed and dissatisfied with this service. I am still in shock by this whole occurrence. I understand this persons advise, but offending us was unnecessary and unprofessional by all means.

had a horrible experience at @Petco. I asked 15 minutes before they closed to get some fish for me and no one came. I asked twice and was told they'd be with me in a moment. No one came. I have a reef aquarium and was planning to get several saltwater fish and live rock. I've spent over 1K there in the last 2 days but I'll be taking future business elsewhere.

Do not ever trust these people to take good care of your animals. They are incapable of properly restraining an animal, especially cats, and will likely injure them in the process. I've never had an issue getting my cats vaccinated but these people refused to vaccinate after a single try because he escaped the (improper) hold the vet tech was doing. The veterinarian was scared to try again because she didn't want to get scratched. Poorly trained technicians and not a good veterinarian. Not to mention we waited 30 minutes past our appointment time just to not even receive the services we needed.

I don't understand how Petco store in Hutchinson, Kansas, can ban a dog from the grooming department. I am not the owner of the purebred German Shepherd. I took it to be groomed and asked the dog to be shampooed and to trim under the dog's belly and behind the dog's legs. The owner was shocked to see that Petco had shaved his dog. Usually we use Petsmart or another local groomer. This time we went to Petco down the street from us in Olathe. We have a beautiful rust colored golden retriever in his later years. Anyways We go to pick him up yesterday and they buzzed him. Both coats buzzed off leaving him only 1/4" to 1/2" of fur for winter. They hit a few small growths he had that should never have been touched so he was bleeding in multiple places. After all this the manager says, "That is how they usually do it". Buzz a golden retriever? Simple google search can give you a lesson if you are uninformed. Needless they denied even giving a refund (which of course won't be bring our dog fur back, but no way we should have had to pay for such a terrible service. They ruined our poor dogs coat. Never again. Terrible place. Terrible management. Save yourself and your pet.

The salon manager was absolutely amazing at making the first experience for my dog to get her nails clipped a good experience. We will be back.
