I have been calling this place since May following all instructions and I never get a call back. How is anyone supposed to get help if you fail to call them back? My caseworker even tried multiple times trying to contact the person directly by leaving a message.
She was told by DCF that the person she was trying to contact never responds to anyone but good luck trying.

When I call, I can’t even leave a full message and THEREFORE I have to leave multiple msgs. I am homeless and disabled by SSA and my parents are married. My dad is a VETERAN

Mina is the worst. She is in charge of the shelter and she will literally try and get you kicked out and get your kids taken away. Thank God I have overcome this severe trauma she has caused our family. The Corp officers (Nick and Cherie) are also completely terrible. They are all friends and talk about you. Don't come here if you want help. Stay away. It even has written in the manual you have to sign for their shelter, she will take your kids. It's a terrible, terrible place.

used to give all of my extra stuff to the Salvation Army but after them wanting $15 for a blanket with dog hair on it I've decided to start throw my stuff in the garbage.I'm homeless anyway.

I only went as a guest there for a NA event. The place looked great! The facility/room we were in, was huge enough to for all of us comfortably (maybe 75 people?).

Very rude when you call. They're not doing showers, no food, no clothes, not open during holidays, I'm pretty positive this is just a call center with mean old ladies that get paid to cut you off when you're talking on the phone, just to tell you there's nothing they can do. Holidays, Covid or not... there are still people out there that need help especially during these cold seasons.

Went in my husband is a disabled veteran and the woman eating some cake said they have nothing and could not help us. Really. Way to go salvation army. Being there when we finally reach out gor help.

Google maps told me they were opened a 9am but they are on temporary hours and open at 10. UUUUUgh that's so annoying after a 20 minute ride. ?
