“I was driving from Oklahoma to Norrh Dakota with my kids when I heard a big bang and my wheel started grinding. Pulled over and Called, explained what happened and that we were just traveling through, he said bring it by. Mind you, this happens on a Friday night, basically all auto shops are closed on the weekends, and the first 2 places I called said they were booked and good luck, so I thought we were screwed and stuck for the weekend. we pulled up there at 450, they close at 5. He concurred it was the wheel baring, stayed open for me and my kids, ordered the part and got right to work on it. Extremely fair on price, he got us back on the road safely. “I went to another business in Emporia for an oil change and was told I needed brakes and suspension work. They quoted me well over $1000 for the work. I went to Thomson for a second opinion and I’m so glad I did! They got my car in right away for a free estimate and I was told that most of the work was not an immediate safety issue and to only get the safety concern taken care of. The technician even took me back to the shop to show me and explain what work needed to be done and why. Thomson quoted me almost half the amount that the first place did and made an appointment for the following week. It only took about 4 hours for the repairs to be made and the estimate was true to the price I paid. I highly recommend Thomson Brake & Alignment! These guys came down and not only pulled me out but also helped pull start the truck and get me back on the road. “Words can not express our appreciation to Thurston's for the great help they were. We were passing through from KC to Wichita and were involved in a car/deer accident. We limped into Emporia with our rear bumper area flopping in the breeze. “This is the one to call for any and all tow and repairs. So thankful to get back on the road. We were towing an RV when the fuel pump went out. They found some additional problems and fixed them at an affordable price. They allowed me to plug into their power and run the ac. Cant say enough about how easy they made this. They even did the repairs on a sunday and i was on the road Tuesday morning. made it home no issues. Thanks again! ?”
“My dog is sick and we need to get to Manhattan ASAP but my truck was leaking tons of fluid. I found these guys online and just showed up. Desperate to get to manhattan I asked if they'd check on the leak. Immediately mike pulled my truck in, made friends with my dog Shera, and put the truck up. He looked closely and checked under the hood. Just ac fluid and it's normal. Yes! Off to Manhattan and it only took 5 minutes at the shop. They didn't even charge me! What a wonderful group of dudes!
