I recently had my SUV repaired at Don’s Body Shop. Overall, they did good work and were very easy to work with leading up to the scheduled date. I appreciated being able to pay for parts in advance so they’d be ready to go and minimize my time without a vehicle.
There was a hiccup right before a holiday weekend where I was initially told my vehicle wouldn’t be ready until after the long weekend, despite planning for it to be done before then. After calling to express how inconvenient that would be, they were able to get it finished the same day, and I truly appreciated that extra effort.
Communication was excellent at first but a little uneven toward the end. Still, they came through in the end, and I’d use them again. Just a note to future customers to be proactive about confirming timelines. Overall, solid local shop with people who will try to make it right.

Zack and Shea were awesome to deal with. My vehicle was in and out. They kept me up to date, got the work done on time/early. And you could never tell what happened! Will be back!

I recently had my truck repaired at Dons Body Shop in Ottawa, KS after hitting a deer. From start to finish, the experience was stress free. Although there were some initial issues between the shop and my insurance about what would be covered, Dons handled it all directly. I never had to worry about anything beyond my deductible.
Once insurance gave the green light and the parts came in, the actual repair only took about three days. Every time I called with a question, the staff was kind and helpful. The quality of the repair work is outstanding. If I didn’t know the truck had been damaged, I never would have guessed it was in an accident at all.
Highly recommend Dons Body Shop to anyone needing collision repairs. They truly took care of everything.

The shop was able to get my vehicle in quickly. It was ready the following week. They were very courteous. My vehicle was returned clean and they did quality work.

Don’s Body Shop of Ottawa took great care of my car and I. Everything looks amazing, parts, labels, color, finish everything looks just like before if not better.
I was called and updated often about the status of my car, the owners called me 2 times to give me an update too, they are very involved and know where everything is every step of the way.
I cannot recommend dons Body Shop Enough.
