I am a little disappointed as I have had 2 sub-par decorated cakes within the past couple months. The first cake was for a baptism and was the most boring and plain looking cake I had seen. I took that as my own fault as I didn’t specifically say to decorate it very cutely. I had mentioned what I wanted it to say and to add a cross which was on the cake, so it was disappointing but ok. I ordered my baby’s first birthday cake last week and explicitly said to make it super cute and fun for a baby’s first birthday party. I had mentioned this several times to reiterate to decorate it and have rainbow colors and such so that it wouldn’t turn out like the baptism cake. When I saw it, it was disappointing yet again :(
The phrase was on it along with one decoration, but no other color or fun. Super simple and boring. I thought I had made it clear what we wanted but that didn’t seem to come across based on what we got. I even mentioned to have creative freedom because they usually come out so cute when giving that go-ahead. Disappointing because we spent almost $50 on a cake for our baby’s only first birthday, and we were let down.

Went to do some grocery shopping and I did have a lot of groceries, $300 worth, the cashier, Peyton was very rude and was throwing my groceries, she snatched a coupon from me and didn’t greet us or talk to us. I usually love this store but if that’s how I’m gonna be treated I can go somewhere else. I did say something to the courtesy desk when I was walking out and it didn’t say that they were very interested either pretty disappointing trip today

Let me preface this by saying I’ve used the Belton Mo price chopper 4+ times with AMAZING RESULTS. Every year for my kids birthdays. We just moved to Ottawa & my 2nd child’s birthday was coming up so I called a week in advance to schedule 1 5” smash cake & 24 cupcakes. I got a call from, I’m assuming, the manager a day before pickup. She stated what I’d asked for was too much. “Happy Birthday -my kids name-“ with a book on it. The person I spoke to had an attitude & spoke to me like I was stupid. She also degraded the “new guy” who took my order, who did GREAT btw. I USED TO WORK IN A PRICE CHOPPER BAKERY. I know EXACTLY what can & can’t fit on a 5” single layer. We ended up with a poorly done cake, with no top boarder, no variety in color, although I gave them a full list of colors & said to make it colorful. A pinch of sprinkles. I gave “full creative freedom” & ended up with the least creative cake ever. The 24 cupcakes were SAD. I worked there. I know what colors the whipped icing came in, I mentioned I knew what colors the whipped came in & also listed colors I wanted from THAT SPECIFICALLY. Instead I got whipped white frosting that was terribly airbrushed. Not to mention, with the lack of notice I had to DIY a cake topper since they couldn’t meet any requests but the text on the top of the cake, decoration wise. I’ll go elsewhere from here on. Price chopper needs to step up their bakery because that was DISAPPOINTING.

I ordered a cake for my mom's Celebration of Life. When I went to pick it up the verse was not on the cake. The baker and person that customizes the cakes left and said she would do it the next day. Even though I had scheduled to pick up the cake for that evening. The young girl tried to write on the cake, it was misspelled and written in blocky print. The Assistant manager and another department head had no empathy, nor any type of apology. Basically they were both rude to me as I cried in the store. They told me I could take the cake as is, which meant paying $29.99 for a cake that looked awful. No discount was offered, nothing. No apology at all! That's not very professional to allow a cake for a special occasion to look like that and not take ownership of their mistakes. Bad behavior in the bakery and store managers. I have lost respect for their customer service and the Assistant manager. They assumed I was in the wrong even though I tried to show him the order on my phone. He just kept saying I need to see what they have. Funny, they had the same exact order and verse that was printed out laying on the cake box with a blank cake inside! They were in the wrong and I refused to pay for such a mess!

Have an awesome meat selection and fruits and vegetables are fresh..and my husband pumped concrete for evey Price Chopper and Constentions in KC and surrounding area..thought loads of Mr Constentino..
