They closed the fitting rooms 15 minutes before they close, so there was a long line of people just waiting to use the fitting rooms, and the employee was standing right there watching them squirm, worried that they would have to make the decision of whether or not to buy clothes they couldn’t try on. When I asked if she could unlock one of the rooms, she rudely said ‘No.’ When I asked to speak to the manager, the cashier said that she and the person I wanted to complain about were the managers. How did she know who I was going to complain about? This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

The customer service is horrible. My daughter bought a shirt from this store over the weekend and they forgotten to remove the plastic tag from shirt she bought. Since it is quite a drive to go back to store, we tried to remove at home but was no luck and left small hole where tag was. So, she went to store today to return since it was only 2 days old with receipt. The manager told her since it is customer fault she refused to return and just removed the tag, suggested to sew at home for damaged. Well what about you guys cause us inconvenience to drive all the way to get this remove tag which is totally your fault. Such a horrible place and manager is horrible. so, will never suggest anyone to go this place and told daughter to not shop this place anymore.- Just read all the horrible experiences of other people as well, So sad. Not sure Why Aeropostale company letting their reputation down by working employee there? You should do audit to this store and teach them rules and regulations. Just 2 cents and rest your company knows better.

Upon entering the store it smelled strongly on marijuana and it was a total and complete mess but I still tried shopping. Then I could hear laughter about my picks from the managers and associates. I would strongly recommend finding a retail store that values and your business. When I needed sizes in the fitting room everyone was too snippy to help me. Hollister, American Eagle, and Abecrombie are much better shopping experiences even with a small price increase.

The store manager is not professional and is a gossip. They can’t keep a staff and manager needs to realize it’s 2022 not 2002 and retail isn’t the most important thing in one’s life.

DISASTROUS return policies despite having proof of recent purchase. Don't shop here. Go to Hollister. Had proof of purchase for an online Aeropastale order. Store refused to give my money back and would only give store credit despite proof of online purchase. Workers try to push the burden of calling the company on customer instead of doing their job. Had to sit in line for excessive period of time and they allowed a bunch of people to check out in front of me while they attempted to process the return. I was there FOREVER. After they refused to give my money back, I had to sit on a long hold time to try to get my money back. Customer service blamed me because I didn't read their website fine print. Their return policy is not something super noticeable on their website. (This is not the customer's fault. Aeropastale needs to clean up their horrible return policies and make online store returns easy like other companies do.) They claimed that stores do not have to return your money despite having a receipt for online orders. It was also difficult to get a return label so I could ship my item back. Such a huge hassle to return. Will never shop here again.Had an online return at Hollister the same day. Also had a receipt. They were able to process my return with no issues. Hollister had great customer service and I was in and out quick. Aeropastale needs to step up their customer service, other stores are much better.
