Came to this location for the first time recently and got a slightly chubby girl with arm tattoos. She was nice at first but became unfriendly and irritated. The next time I came here, I saw her again and avoided her because I could feel that she didn't want to serve me again. Everyone else has been great though.

I have had a great experience here. The app is easy to use and the customer service is great. They even have a loyalty cash back system for debit and savings accounts. They also have delicious cookies in their lobby!

No fraud protection on debit purchases. Customer service is lackluster. I'm having login issues and you cannot email or chat without a login. I've been sitting on hold for over 20 minutes "waiting for a teammate to be with me soon". Do not make it difficult for your customers to get a hold of a person.

Just found out CommunityAmerica Credit Union doesn't offer fraud protection on their business accounts. Someone created a check and sent it through for $5,000 and there's absolutely nothing they can do. Not to mention it's a check number that cleared earlier this year. They pretty much said suck it up buttercup Time for a new bank

CACU uses a fraud alert company (EnFact) that flags some of my monthly auto-payments each month. I call the fraud alert company and ask them if they can just let me use the card without being pestered about it and they tell me it's "just the system".This was never an issue with the other bank I switched from, and now I'm going to have to switch to yet another bank because this is just too much trouble to excuse. It's well-known companies and commonplace transactions being flagged, even a $4 charge from Amazon got flagged. A payment to my advertiser got flagged -- and now they want me to provide another card, which I can't because there is no other.I'm disgusted by the hassles this place is causing me; it's extremely costly in time.Is it the fraud alert company that deserves the bad rating instead of CACU? No, because 1) CACU uses them, 2) CACU personnel couldn't tell me "yes that's a legitimate fraud alert, you can trust them with your info" when this problem first started happening, and 3) the fraud alert people don't give a flip but I'm hoping maybe CACU does -- it's their mistaken choice to use such an incredibly hair-trigger company.I got a response from the branch manager at CACU, when I wrote this same basic review on Yelp. He said "We are committed to protecting the financial accounts of our members". That's a lame response because all banks do that but they don't all have a hair-trigger fraud alert system that flags payments to Amazon and other easily recognizable companies. My former bank flagged actual frauds, not purchases at Amazon... So the notion they're just doing what's necessary is false. They're wildly overdoing it and causing this member a lot of stress, and time from my life, and trouble with businesses I owe money to.

I have to give this company a one. If your a faithful customer of theirs that doesn't matter no matter how long you been with them they won't show their loyalty to you.

my Husband has an account with this company and we went in the Main Street location in Kansas City Missouri today and I was very disappointed in the cu service from Charlie she was nice to my husband but she was very rude to me. My husband asked me to wait for the rep to come back because he has a back injury and needed to sit down so when she came back with the money she never said come with me or I have to give it to him she just left me standing there like I did not exist and went to him so I made a statement that I should have just sat down with you she never said a word did not even look at me so then I said your name is Charlie and her response was yep so at this point I knew I wasn't crazy she had an attitude with me . I was going to Join the credit union myself but now I don't think I will just based on her action.

When I opened an account with them a few years ago they had great customer service, so when I moved out of Kansas I decided to keep a savings account open with $120. I thought I was supporting a good institution. Today I looked online and they have charged $30 in inactive fees over the last 6 months. If I hadn't looked at that account today I am sure that they probably would have drained the account and probably never would have let me know. I closed that account today and will never use them again.

Gave them 2 stars only because of the yearly payout. Been banking with them for years, nearly 14 years. Have borrowed from them on 3 or 4 occasions, all loans pay off in time. Thought my credit history meant something, but no!! Applied for a small personal loan - denied. Financial consultant recommended a HELOC and pretty much guaranteed us that it would be approved - DENIED. Received differing excuses why it was Denied. Long story short, credit history and loyalty meant nothing. Will be closing our accounts very soon - GUARANTEED!!

The new system is awful! When I transfer money into my daughter's account it does not show me that it went through until hours later. I hate it!
