Hobby Haven is a locally owned, full-line hobby store and the longest-established in the Kansas City area, in continuous operation since the late 1950s. It features a huge selection of radio controlled airplanes, cars, helicopters, and boats, plus plastic model kits, model trains, slot cars, rockets, Gundams, tools, airbrushes, die-cast models, educational toys, puzzles, and a lot of paints. Located in Overland Park's Times Square Shopping Center, the store is known for its friendly, awesome, and super knowledgeable staff. They provide great service, go out of their way to help, and do not try to upsell customers. The staff interacts helpfully, asks questions to understand needs, and has even assisted with matching model paint, modifying items, and resolving product issues. Customers report a really great experience, highly recommend the store, and find it one of their favorite places to go.
This place has it all! I came in for some parts for my Traxxas TRX4M and they had just about everything you could want. Knowledgeable staff and a great selection. The next time I want to buy anything related to RC, I'll come here before looking online.

Had a really great experience there recently. I went for a few items and the staff helped me pick out the right kind of paint I needed for my project. They also helped me out by modifying a metal piece I have basically for free. I really suggest going here for anything you can if at all possible!
