My physician sent in my prescription at 9:00am so I stopped in at 7pm after my 12 hour nursing shift to pick up my prescription to be “helped” by the rudest tech that I have ever encountered. I was rudely told that it was not ready with no further explanation or apologies she turned her back on me. I sat there for about 5 minutes before finally asking if I should be wait here - “no” she said it will be at least 40 minutes. I don’t even know what to say- I have worked in healthcare as a nurse for 32 years and I have never seen someone so rude and disrespectful. Management needs to look into some customer service training.

To the pharmacist assistant with curly hair and glasses who was typing on the computer, yes you know who you are, most rude and unprofessional person to ever work in the pharmaceutical area in any facility i have ever been to, all i asked was a simple question with the most kindest gesture and you wanna give that smug look and say "i dont know, whatever you see over there is all we have". But before that wanted to ignore me while i stood there? Was it the color of my skin? Was it the way i looked? Let me know so i can write an article about your hyvee, you looked pretty upset you had to answer a question from me. Ive never been to an hyvee where i felt degraded because of how i looked and just because you wanted to be girly girly with your co workers doesnt mean you treat people that way.

This pharmacy is AWFUL!!!! The rudeness right off the bat is not necessary. Every single employee is the same way, and the pharmacist is no different. I’ve had several different people “help” me, and they all must be trained the same way- to screw you over. They always tell me a much higher price, but when i find my GOOD RX code, they get so angry and tell me the code isn’t working or it’s giving a different price. For example, went to get eye drops for pink eye, they told me $18. I told them i have good RX for $4.70 and she said “it won’t work but it says $9.70”. She wouldn’t budge. Whatever. I paid it. But this happens EVERY TIME. Another time when i went to get 3 diff RX, a man once said “we’ve already figured the cheapest prices for you is here is your total”. I said “let me check my good RX” he LIED and i ended up saving $35. He wasn’t happy about me having him reapply each code for the discounts. They did this to me another time and then i had to go inside the pharmacy to get reimbursed from their mistakes after they told me i was getting the best price and my good RX said otherwise. I asked if they knew about their extremely low rating on their reviews and they said “we know” so i asked if they cared and she said”nope”. CHRISTINA, EMILY, SUSIE, ALL RUDE AS HELL!! WILL NOT EVER GO BACK! I’m not sure why i even went the 5 times that i did. My goal will be to get NO ONE to go here just to be mistreated, especially when you don’t feel well. Hy vee pharmacy 135th st, you are AWFUL IN ALL WAYS POSSIBLE!!

During the COVID period my prescriptions were never ready but they were very busy so I understood. Since then I’ve had a few bad experiences with the same cashier. One example, I showed her a good RX coupon on my phone but she quoted a higher price with Good RX. Told me the site is wrong.

I made an appointment to get a flu shot, and 25 minutes after my appointment time I was still waiting. I asked for an estimate on how much longer it might be, and I was told, “Um, I can probably do it in a few minutes after I finish this. I just got here.” They are also typically very slow when we come for prescriptions. There are plenty of good pharmacies in town - I’d recommend avoiding this one.

I recently came in to get a prescription for eyedrops when I had pink eye. The pharmacy tech, Emily, was dismissive and unhelpful. The other older female cashier was also not very helpful. Emily told me it would be ready tomorrow as they did not have my prescription in stock. When I said I didn’t want to wait for Central fill, she told me to call one of the other Hy-Vee pharmacies to see if they had it available and to get the prescription changed over. When I called, the other HyVee pharmacy did have my prescription in stock but I had to go back to the pharmacy to have my prescription put back on hold so it could be transferred. I found the whole interaction frustrating.

Not only do they offer excellent service, they also have inventory. Its hard to find helpful and compassionate employees , but the medicine in stock as well!

Visited 11/08/2023. This Hyvee Pharmacy is very busy and has a lot of clients. If you go to other places, they will also have wait times. I went last night at 5:41pm and there were 2 cars in the drive-up ahead of me. I got my medicine and was done in 9 minutes. The employee was courteous - no issues. If you have issues with wait times - think about that time of day you are going. Or maybe the people ahead of you really have serious issues and need additional attention. If you have issues with an employee, get their name and talk to the manager during that same visit.

Lot's of bad experiences here. Here are a couple:During a recent visit, the Pharmacist (not an assistant) shouted out a customer's anti-depressant medication for all of us to hear. Very embarrassing for her and certainly a HIPAA violation.Many of the staff appear to be normal store employees based on my interactions with them.The drive through is an exercise in bad design. It's backwards relative to traffic flow. If there are more than three cars ahead of you, you're sitting in the through-way in the wrong direction.Overall this is a very slow, often unprofessional, place to fill your medications. They're frequently low on stock even on common generics, delaying prescriptions or requiring you to make a return trip to get your full order.Hy-Vee, don't bother with the copy-paste response. The many one-star reviews give you a good to-do list on what to fix.

Tried calling twice today to order my prescriptions here. No one bothered to pick up. Read the reviews and called the one on W 95th. They picked up right away and were extremely helpful. It’s worth the 14-minute round trip not to deal with this pharmacy.

i would give a 0 star if possible. unbelievable that you guys fired someone over asking if a teenager was safe. i myself am a teenager and to think no one knows if that girl is in a bad place or not? the mom answered for her and walked away. clearly that girl needs help and instead you guys let them go and fired the person that could have helped her. seriously? absolutely worst place ever, never will see me in this store.

Local and lots of products! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, load up on snacks....! Not sure why the ratings are so low for this location! With the close proximity to the soccer fields, this is a great place to grab in between games snacks after game breakfast or lunch or grocery shop for the house. There is also a Starbucks inside so if your a soccer mom like me you can grab snacks and drinks for your player and get a coffee for the fields while your there!

Customer service is the worst! Always takes 1-2 days to get common prescriptions filled. Had a prescription that was run through Good Rx. When I came to pick it up, I had a Good Rx coupon that was several dollars cheaper. The lady checking me out, Grete, was reluctant to use the new coupon. When I asked her to please see if the better coupon would be accepted, she said Hy-Vee would lose money if she did that! They need to have some courses in customer service!

Went in to pick up produce and decided to get a quick lunch while I was there.Took way too long to get what I needed because the employees who should have been stocking items were literally on their phones in the middle of the aisles and wouldn't move. The sandwich I purchased looked like it would have been rejected at a gas station and the potatoes in the potato salad were just sliced and uncooked. Huge waste of money as I had to throw away everything I bought for my lunch.
