We originally scheduled for a Wednesday but it ended up not working. I called and rescheduled the appointment, to a Friday. We I called to reschedule the guy I talked to, gave me quotes that were over $500 to low. Drove 50 minutes to come here as the shop was highly recommended. Get down here and told my appointment was actually on Saturday. They offered to fit me in way later in the evening, which wasn't realistic for me, as I live over 50 minutes away and had no desire to just hang out in Overland Park for the whole day with a small child. When I rescheduled the appointment I verified the day and date over 3 times on the phone, then to get down here and told my appointment wasn't till tomorrow. Very upset and we will never recommend to anyone or come back.

Long story short I ordered a rear steel bumper because I had some damage on my stock bumper from backing into a pole. When I ordered a rear steel bumper to a dealership body shop to fix it, they told me that it would not accommodate my "blind spot monitors." I ended up having to sell it on Facebook market place for almost half of what I payed retail "1000". Someone mentioned to me that I should goto KC Trends and have them get me hooked up. I went in and they had already done business with some of my family members before... When I talked to the head guy at KC Trends he said there would be no problem in finding one that accommodates the BSM. In fact we found one for half the price! My bumper was suppose to be in the shop by the 16th of July to get installed. I didn't receive a single call or voice message, I had to reach out on the 27th of July to ask if my bumper had arrived, to which a woman replied stating that it had been there. 2 hours after dropping my truck off, I get a call telling me that the bumper they ordered doesn't actually accommodate the BSM. I basically told them to put it on anyways because I have been trying to install a rear steel bumper for over 3 months now. They then charged me $400 for labor and couldn't even install the bumper correctly, there was a 3 inch gap on one side and the thing looked practically crooked. They blamed it on my truck having "warpage" from backing into a pole at less than 5MPH. I went to an established body shop to see if this was the case and it indeed was not. There was no structural damage whatsoever! They then installed my bumper for correct for $125 of labor. Only reason I give this place two stars is because the bumper they gave me looks good when it's properly installed:)

Lots of rim and car accessories selection, but they never called me back with pricing on the specific rims I want.

I took my car to a reputable shop for a tire swap and wheel balance. It was a friend's shop and I had no reason to believe I'd get a shortcut job as I insisted on paying after they offered it at no charge.Instantly noticeable was a physical steering wheel wobble at 55-70mph. I stopped back in and they said I needed an alignment. Trusting, I said ok and scheduled. This is where things get spicy...I took it back for that appointment where they were going to do an alignment to get rid of the vibration. I asked that they please also check the wheel balance and two things were said when I picked up that raised red flags. - Wheel balance is spot on, wheels are true as well, no bends.- we didn't need to do an alignment, in fact we didn't even need to take the wheels off.If you didn't take the wheels off how on Earth did they check the balance? In comes my friends at KC Trends.I kindly referenced my prior ship experience and noted that their primary objective is to try and find faults in what they did. They were fine with the challenge, here's the outcome:- those wheels were way out of balance- enjoy vibration free driving, call us if any issuesSILKY SMOOTH RIDE. NO ISSUES A+++ KCTRENDS.

Taken 2 vehicles here for new tires and wheels. They go above and beyond for their customers and the prices are the best you can find around.

Wonderful place, I'm not sure if they accept $XOR as payment... but if they did I would give 7 stars.

Been in many times over the years. They've never had wheels or tires I wanted to order. Two attempts. They told me I could order what I wanted myself and they'd gladly install. Theyd always make a mistake and lose my valve caps Or install one mismatched used rusty cap or lug nut. I once bought brake pads with the plan to install at home. I've done my own brake every other time is history. It's simple. It snowed, was cold and I needed to replace and I called and asked if they'll do the brakes for me - for pay of course. They said "sure". I took in my new EBC bright red brake pads. Douchey low rent tech too my pads with an attitude and said they'd install. Got the car later and they were installed. Once the snow melted in a couple of days I washed my car. There was a bright red paint transfer and dent in my lower door. My car was lowered. I was clear to me that tech threw my brake pads at the floor and it hit the concrete, skipped like a rock and hit my door. The color was identical, new and a deep dent shaped like the ears on my ebc brake pads. The same thickness of the steel pad base Plate. About a month or two later that brake pad was sticking. The dealer looker at it and about 1/4 of the brake pad material was broken away from the base. Just like it was crushed into the concrete floor and bounced into my door. they did exactly what I thought they did. That confirmed it. The owner called me back a few days after installing the pads and denied his staff would do that. Based on his attitude and the techs attitude it was clear I was right. Tyler the owner then explained that I "always brought them my parts" to install And he was upset I didn't buy from them Even though I tried to every time. I only did this because they had the right tire machine to mount my size tire and wheels (and they couldn't get what I wanted) and they told me to bring them in to install. I paid every time and tried many times to spend $4k on wheels and $2k on tires but they could never get what I wanted. I even asked special order. Tyler made me out to be a user. It's was the craziest thing I've ever experienced. Told me they'd paid for Dr dent to remove the dent but "never come back in ever again". Lol. as if I would. Worst experience. They pretend to be premium but could only order a few brands and almost no options for tires. Horrible and inept staff with an attitude

Web site is super easy to navigate. Found what I wanted, called the store, paid a deposit, and wheels arrived in less than a week. Very smooth process.Customer service is excellent. I'm not a car guy, so I'm basically an idiot in shops like this - I just needed new wheels due to corrosion. The two people I dealt with were super helpful.Appointment was quick, just over an hour from hitting the door to driving away. They don't do OEM replacements, which I wanted originally. Fine. But now I have absolutely badass wheels for basically the same price, and my maintenance issue is resolved.

Just had a paint protector (clear bra) put on my car here. Had no idea they did this type of work. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Shout out to David, who gave me more time than I deserved as I was making a decision to get my car done there. A true master at his craft! Check em out!!

I've been a faithful customer here since 2010, spent tens of thousands of dollars over the years on my personal and business vehicles as well as referring customers, even when they may be more expensive than alternative options I may have. Brand loyalty, and local is something I try to support. All of that said a little disappointed that 2 center caps on my wives vehicle fell off promptly after installation by KC Trends. Upon bringing this to their attention, little to no responsibility or ownership was taken for this minor but also fairly clear mistake. I had to pay half of the replacement cost of these center caps because staff claimed "they must have been stolen" ? and "there's no way to prove it was their mistake" . Seems a bit of a stretch to assume someone in Johnson County snuck into my locked garage with cameras and took 2 Nissan center caps. Being a car guy and owning a business in the automotive Industy the much more likely culprit is broken tabs on the pressure ring upon removal/ re-installation. Anyways, the principal of the matter is I believe a longtime and loyal customer is MUCH more valuable than deflecting responsibility for a small mishap to save 60 dollars.

I've been doing business with KC Trends for 25 years. Since the Johnson Drive store. Chad the owner has always been very friendly and helpful. I am part of the car enthusiasts community, so I'm very knowledgeable about this stuff in general. But even for a novice, his staff will help you out and not make you feel stupid in the process as I've witnessed this many times in the store. Plenty of folks come in not really sure of exactly what they want or need. And every time I've been there (I'm there pretty often) the novice customer ends up with a smile on their face and satisfied with their plan, service and work.I had PPF (Paint protection film, which is clear) done on the front end of my car. Dave is great at it, and very easy to talk to. I had imperfections on my front end from rock chips and Dave touched those up with some touch up paint that I brought, and then he PPF'd the front end. They used top of the line self healing PPF with a 10 year warranty on it....No real issues with the PPF after I checked it for several days afterwards, meticulously. He did all the touch up paint, plus the PPF on the front end of my car, and it was all done in like 6 hours. Same day. You cant really ask for better service. I haven't even talked about the plentiful other specialties they do, like wheels/tires, tint, and many other services and products they offer. This is not some junky operation they're running here, it never has been that way. Trends and staff do high end vehicles on a regular basis with celebrity clientele fairly often. No matter what car you have whether its a Honda or Rolls Royce Wraith... These guys can handle it and are experienced. If you're a meticulous car guy (like me) or if you're just a novice looking to spice up your vehicle. I don't recommend anyone else but KC Trends.

Do not go to this place! Just sold some rims that I got from here a couple years ago and found out that they sold me fake rims. They sold me TSW rims with a Beyern center cap. However they were sold to me as Beyern rims at a premium price too. Do not go here they will rip you off that’s a guarantee!!!

Extremely pleased. I tried a traditional tire store and the only thing they suggested was replacing the exact same size tires and wheels. They had no idea what would fit. I also tried a local 4 WD shop but they seemed like a bunch of gear heads that were stumped unless I wanted to add a 2" lift to my Jeep. Luckily I found Angie at KC Trends. She is a Jeep Goddess and knew exactly what would fit and help "sexy up" my Jeep. She was very easy to talk with and my baby had new shoes within 2 days. Couldn't be more pleased with Angie and the guys in the back who did the work. It was a quick and efficient process. You have a great team!
