Came to the store to buy some casement window cranks. With a little effort, can easily find the same on Amazon but wanted to patronize local business. Late weekday afternoon was busy. Unfortunately, I wandered around the store for 15 minutes with no one even offering to help me find what I needed. Several people (employees) passed me on the way to back offices (break room?) without offering help or even saying something like “We’ll be with you in a moment.” Not once.My wife has had the same experience, as have many others judging from reviews. Difficult to tell who employees actually are.After no one offering to help and standing at the register for awhile, I vowed to order from Amazon (which I subsequently did). The store has been around forever, and has helped us before, but I won’t be coming back.

I’ve visited this store several times, as it is conveniently located from where I live. The selection is good. I was happy to find a store carrying several shades of gold, as I was trying to match my current gold light fixtures. The staff are not overly friendly, they don’t go out of their way to ask if you need help. The only time I remember having good customer service is when I was there with my dad. I probably should have brought my dad with me on my most recent (and last) visit since they seem to cater to men. Anyways, whoever the lady was who was helping me with a return was rude and patronizing. I was trying to return some samples for my dad, but didn’t have the receipt. I told her I could call my dad to see if he has the receipt and she said in a snarky tone “it’s not going to make any difference If you call your dad, we need the physical receipt.” Obviously, I knew, making the call wasn’t going to make a receipt appear out of thin air lol. However, if I knew he had it I would have come back another time, if he didn’t I would have told them to keep them because they have no purpose sitting in my trunk. Instead she made me feel absolutely stupid for even making the consideration to call my dad. She did end up returning without the receipt, but she made sure to make me feel bad about that even though I never asked her to make an exception for you. I will never go back there.

I needed a cylinder for a thin market lock, and took my disassembled hardware to them. They took one look, diagnosed the issue and provided me with a replacement cylinder so that I could re-assemble the lock and not have to replace it. They know locks, and they've earned my loyalty.

So much better than going to a big box store for this hardware. Their pricing is in-line with what I found at the big box stores, but they have so many unique options to suit whatever style you are looking to create. The biggest "X" factor for me is the staff's helpful demeanor, experience and knowledge. I find it telling that whenever I am in there, I see the sales staff providing designers and builders with guidance and advice.

If you need locks or pulls, hinges are otherwise, this is the place to go! Best place in Johnson county to update your bathroom, kitchen or any other storage, They have a showroom that competes with any I've seen, not to mention the staff is genuinely happy to help and satisfy your needs! I've shopped here multiple times for work, as I remodel homes, and I've also recommended homeowners to go on their own with nothing but good reports and and happy people.. some of the items are a little more expensive than you would expect, but the quality is there!
