Services are first rate! The staff treat my dog like a king! Very attentive, excellent emergency care, I recommend Dr. Callicot to everyone. Best care in town! I've had four dogs at Pet works and they've all been treated very well. 91st Metcalf, go by and see them.

I was so pleased with the care you gave Evita. Dr Callicot was amazing when he did the exam. He did not hurry and was very thoughtful when he told me what he had found. He explained what could be done and what couldn’t. The whole stuff was so friendly that make getting possible bad news a lot easier.

Complete and thorough visit. Dr Richtermeyer took as much time as I needed with questions. She is knowledgeable and thoughtful in her answers. The office staff are welcoming and enthusiastic.

I wouldn't take Khaleesi, my wheaten terrier, anyplace else. She loves the entire staff and they take care of her as if she were their own.

Great place. Very friendly and helpful people there. It's one of the only places around in Johnson county that we've found that grooms cats and they do a great job at it. The only downside to that is that you have to book pretty far ahead of time to get in. Well with the wait and they don't charge you an arm and a leg like a lot of other places.

1st Boarding – Upset when I found our young cat hiding under her bedding laying in water spilled from her water bowl.2nd Boarding – It seemed positive at the time.3rd Boarding – Halfway through the week we got a call because they couldn’t give the vaccinations we’d requested. They couldn’t manage her without sedating her. We became extremely anxious. Cat was terrified and the staff was scared of her, making the situation worse. The first call left us stressed and the second call only succeeded in increasing our stress level. We returned at the end of the week to pick her up. The boarding attendant’s face went a fearful white when we said we were there to pick her up. The desk staff looked fearful. I just wrapped her up in a towel with her only complaint being a small mild hiss but no problems. The staff was in shock. She shook hard from fear the first half of the way home. Got home and she was completely fine.We are confused that a vet clinic doesn’t know how to adequately care for any animal to make it feel calm, safe, and secure.

We are very appreciative of the compassionate, comprehensive care Dr Callicott and Pet Works staff offered us and our corgi, Cookie, during her last several months. The ongoing support they provided made our final decision to end care a little easier. We will never forget their kindness.

Everyone at Petworks is wonderful! Dr. Callicott is compassionate and cares about his patients. Our beloved dog had surgery here not long ago and I just can't say enough good things about this clinic. Thank you!!

Horrible customer service, not willing to work with you at all, won't fill script when there is a script in your dogs medical chart and 22 refills. Wouldn't even get me an appointment and fill the script in the mean time till she was able to be seen, which this doctor has not only treated her, but I was with him for 4 years prior. The best part is that they hang up on you, when you try and problem solve the situation. Apparently they are no longer in the business of trying to help someone, but instead just hanging up.Your explanation as to why, still doesn't answer the fact then, why did you fill it at all then if the case your making now is she has to be seen by your doctor. I guess you should of said that from the get go and not filled my script. It makes you and your company seem like, we will do it this one time to try and get your business back. Did it ever occur to you as to why you lost me as a customer to begin with after 4 years? Customer service goes a long way, and you all lack it which is greatly needed now more than ever.

Simply the best vet I've ever experienced in my 20 years of dog ownership. Dr. Richtermeyer spent so much time explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions without making me feel bad for asking so many of them. I wish I could find a doctor for myself with her style of 'bedside mannor'.The front desk staff was also above and beyond helpful. One gal even spent time sharing some personal experiences similar to what my sweet Cricket was dealing with. Can't recommend this place enough!

I always trust PetWorks in Overland Park, with my brown marble bengal cat when I have to go out of town. They take great care of her and make sure she is up to date on all immunizations and keep a close eye her until I can bring her back home.

The vets, techs, and staff are always so friendly & caring. I appreciate Dr. Callicott always taking the time to thoroughly explain any of my pets' medical issues and my options. Even when the office is clearly busy, I never feel like they're rushing care. It's reassuring to know that my pups, Harvey and Hudson, will get treated like family here.
