I love the ordering system here, it is quick and efficient. You order at a kiosk and then they bring the food out to you. The cost is very affordable, and the food is delicious.

The ambiance was great and I personally loved the fact that the system has minimal contact. You order your food at the kiosk, you get your own water and there are utensils, napkins & to go boxes at a station. However I would not return due to the food lacking any flavor. The crab rangoon's filling had no flavor, just straight cream cheese. The sesame shrimp was bearable to eat with a ton of chili sauce added. We thought when ordering it was going to be their version of "boom boom shrimp" but it taste like shrimp smothered in kewpie mayo - again no flavor. The soup dumplings have hardly any soup, but were good enough to finish. The chicken pan seared dumplings were great though! Everyone is very nice and efficient.

Good dumpling variety steamed or pan fired and the toasted pork was nicely flavored. It's self service style where you order your items at a kiosk and pick up at a counter. The condiments are in a shared space. We enjoyed the food and the ambience is informal with a side shop located within the restaurant. Nice place to grab a bite and chat with friends while some little tots hang by your legs. Nobody minded that we had 2 small busy ones with us. The owners and staff were also friendly. I'd recommend. It gives the vibe of a place you would go to for lunch or an after-event evening eating spot when you want to be left alone to just chill with your eating buddies.

Food was just okay. Service was good. Did not like dishes and silverware sitting out when everyone could touch them.

WOW!! My husband and i love this place, we found it yesterday by chance and i think we will be regulars. The food is great, the ambiance is wonderful and the people who work here are very friendly and helpful. We came for dinner last night and had to come back again for lunch this afternoon! 10/10 recommend

Well. Good news. A for effort. Odd concept but okay. Egg drop soup plentiful and hot but tasteless. Crab rangoon were awful. Full of sour cream I think and not even a whiff of crab. Fish dumplings were tasteless and awful. I'll try again but will try a hot dish and hot and sour soup. But they gotta get the egg drop, dumplings right and start over on the crab ragoon. Not sure I get the limited table service either. Place not going to make it without good food. Vibe is okay but lotsa work to do. It can be fixed.

We dined in and shared the hot and sour soup, pork soup dumplings, lamb dumplings, spare rib appetizer and the pork zha jiang noodles. The good/okay: All the food was decent. It didn't blow us away but nothing was bad- except that the soup dumplings had barely any soup. The music is relaxing and the interior is very nice. The food came out FAST, and tasted fresh. The not great: The system to get your food is confusing- you pay up at the front kiosks first, which means you decide on a tip before your meal experience. Our servers never once checked on us or asked how anything was, and so had I tipped after, it would had affected what we left. They brought the food and then forgot about us. Also they have styrofoam cups, which many folks might not care about, but I'd rather patronize a place that honors sustainable practices.

An amazing lunch experience! The atmosphere is more like a beautiful, relaxing antique shop that happens to serve some delicious dumplings. It is a new restaurant that replaced a local favorite, so we were a little bit hesitant, but this is quite the upgrade. Staff was fast with our food and very friendly the entire time. The Hot and sour soup was good, but all of the dumplings were excellent. I definitely recommend getting a variety of those and splitting them with some friends and family.

Dumplings were good, though not spectacular. The set up of the place was interesting. Very different. I'd go back if I had a dumpling craving, but with an understanding about what the vibe is. Not a place to sit and talk after eating. My friend's kung pao chicken was so spicy, she couldn't eat much of it. Very sweet and helpful staff.

Fantastic food - love that you order at the counter and they bring it out when ready! The noodle and rice dishes are amazing, but the dumplings are by far the best in KC! I've traveled all over Asia and this is some of the best I've ever had! So happy this is open near us!!

Service was good and the food was delivered promptly. Unfortunately the food was not very good. The dumpling sauce was weirdly sour and made me skip the dumplings altogether. The restaurant is unique to this area because half of the inside has unusual furniture and tchotchkes for sale.

Great selection of dumplings. Tried several and all were great. Other options on the menu were limited and average but you've got to try the dumplings. Worth the trip.

Very welcoming environment. The homemade dumplings were excellent. Both soups we tried were delicious, and the crab Rangoon and cookies were had were perfect. Would recommend, we will definitely be back!

Food was amazing, quick and the service was great! Dumplings are fire, General Tso's chicken was the best i've had. The bubble tea was so good too! Highly recommend.

We saw Rakar today while out shopping and thought we'd try it. First off, the egg drop soup was delicious! The pork dumplings were good, too. Tried the char sui pork. I've had better. This was okay. I would definitely try it again. A good restaurant can have an off day, we all can.
