I had an amazing time shopping here today. I went in to shop for Haus Labs Foundation and concealer. I ended up walking out with so much more. The first girl that helped me, I think her name was Jamie, she color matched my foundation and concealer. Then another girl helped me, I can’t remember her name. Just that she had the most amazing artist makeup I’ve ever seen. Literally the coolest. Bright and glittery. She was very helpful, she pointed me into the right direction on blushes and how to apply them. Literally everyone in the store was so helpful. Penny was just the best. She helped me so much and was completely honest and knew so much about color and what products were high in quality. I can’t stress enough how much she knows makeup. She helped me pick out shade for bronzer stick and lipstick, lip pencil and a moisturizer plus primer. She was like just so honest and she knows so much. I will definitely be coming back here again for more product. I also enjoyed how diverse the staff is at this location. Honestly I’ve been to this location few years ago and it’s like night and day difference. The people here really just love what they do and it’s so appreciated. They are very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Penny you are just so sweet and I really appreciate all of your knowledge of product, color and honesty.

Very “meh” experience. Only one employee was helpful AND friendly.The store feels unhygienic. The little trash bins were full everywhere I turned. Lots of tiny sample strips around (probably because there’s no where to set them).I’ll continue to shop with competitors.

Without a doubt, one of the worst SEPHORA stores I've ever been in. Store is nearly dead. 6 staff standing around clearly bored and wandering. 1 staff at the register. 3 people in line waiting to check out and a 4th person actually checking out at the register. But the customer needed to also order something from the website which means the rest of us stand here longer. Despite having 4 computers, not another employee could be bothered to jump in and check the rest of us out.I'll literally never come back here. I've never seen more apathetic or lazy employees in a SEPHORA before. Ulta beauty is looking better and better all the time.

One staff member smelled horrible. Me and my kid had to leave because my child started to gag. 10/10 never returning back to this location. Staff was also extremely rude and nasty to my family and accused me of stealing my half used mascara from my purse which i had purchased from ulta two months prior. This was by far the worst customer service experience i have ever received.

Jaina and Store's - Disturbing Unprofessional Conduct and Racial Remarks - - Oak Park Sephora Store #134Rating : ZERO/5I am compelled to share a deeply disturbing and upsetting experience that occurred at the Sephora store located at 11731 W 95th St, Overland Park, KS 66214 on the 29th of July 2023, around 5:30 p.m.During my visit, my friend sought assistance from an employee named Jaina regarding a foundation. Regrettably, the interaction with Jaina was nothing short of appalling. She displayed an alarming level of rudeness and unprofessionalism by continuously laughing and mocking my friend throughout the conversation.Despite the evident mistreatment, my friend and I chose to endure the discomfort, hoping it might be an isolated incident. However, as we observed, my friend was not the only one facing such disdainful behavior. Going through other reviews posted by customers, it became distressingly evident that multiple individuals had complained about Jaina's demeanor and unprofessional conduct in the past.To make matters worse, when my friend confronted Jaina about her behavior, she shamelessly and explicitly stated that she was "pissed" at us. Such a response was beyond shocking and demonstrated a complete lack of respect and regard for customers.It is deeply concerning that despite the previous complaints and the clear evidence of Jaina's disrespectful behavior, Sephora seems to have taken no meaningful action against this individual. As customers, we trust that reputable companies such as Sephora prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their patrons and address such issues promptly and effectively.Regrettably, this has not been the case, leaving my friend and me feeling unheard and ignored. The lack of appropriate action taken by Sephora's management reflects poorly on the company and its commitment to maintaining a respectful and inclusive shopping environment.We want to emphasize that we have already officially filed a complaint with Sephora's management regarding this incident. However, if no appropriate action is taken to address this matter and prevent its recurrence, we will be left with no choice but to seek legal recourse. As customers who value fairness and respect, my friend and I are prepared to take this matter to the appropriate legal channels to protect our rights.This review is a plea for change, urging Sephora to rectify this deeply troubling issue. We demand a thorough investigation into this incident and transparent communication regarding the actions taken to address the matter.As customers who have supported Sephora in the past, we sincerely hope that the company will not overlook this serious concern and will take urgent measures to regain our trust.

Omg went to this location, so racist and rude. I was treated like qex were not to be in the store. There was a bald headed guy and an Hispanic lady. Wow both extremely rude. Please my fellow sisters and brothers don't shop at this location.

It's been nearly a year since my last visit to the Oak Park location. As mentioned before, I am skincare and makeup fanatic and I am very picky on products I purchase and where. Previous reviews range from poor customer service to lack of diversity among staff and minorities being racially profiled at other Sephora locations. I visited a few weeks ago and here is my review:Popular! You're going to be pop-u-lar: You can guarantee this location is going to be absolutely crowded, given the location is in the mall. For a Sunday afternoon, it was pretty busy. It's probably better to visit this location during the week while school is in. Diversity: As mentioned in my Ulta review, Sephora has a leg up on the diversity among their staff. Even the Leawood-Town Center location has Black employees. Though they have a better understanding of hiring a diverse staff, they still need help in other areas.Customer Service: I am usually greeted upon entering this store location. There were plenty of employees and everyone seemed to be attentive to the customers. My issue was at checkout. The cashier seemed rushed and did not ask about my loyalty points or how I wanted to use them. She did seem overwhelmed, as the line got long rather quickly. I feel she should have taken note from her co-worker, who was treating every customer like they were the only one in the store and her bubbly personality was infectious. I did reach out to their customer service team and they said they would take care of it. I appreciated how quickly they responded and the extra points they gave me. Online only: This visit, I was specifically looking for the Givenchy Prism Libre Matte foundation. An associate told me Sephora does not carry it in store-only online. This was disappointing. I would have to go to Nordstrom to shop the product in person. True Colors: I do feel that Sephora needs to hire more employees that understand foundation formulas and know how to color match foundation on various types of skin. I have had this issue before and so have previous reviewers. The lightning is not great in the store for foundation match to begin with, but there should still be someone knowledgeable in this area. And it should not be just one employee. Finding someone to match a foundation color is like pulling teeth.Overall, I have had better visits at this location. I appreciate their staff diversity and willingness to help find products when asked, but they do need to do better about having employees that know how to color match. This location is also hit or miss on positive customer service interactions, mainly at the checkout. I do not mind visiting this location during the week when it's not extremely busy, but for now, I will stick to shopping online.

This store was full of DUST. The shelves, and floors. ? It was just messy and I wasn’t sure who even worked there. No one asked if I needed anything or help. I needed both samples and help finding makeup. It’s disheartening that this store has fallen this much into the dumps. Unfortunately, I wont be back to this store.

It was super busy (mid day Saturday) but Crystal and Michaela were a huge help in updating my foundation, concealer, and lip products. Very positive experience.
