I had a really disappointing experience at this shoe store. My friend and I were simply looking at different shoes and opened a couple of boxes to check the sizes and styles. The employee(A white old man with hat)
on the floor immediately got rude with us, acting irritated and upset as if we were doing something wrong. Instead of politely explaining store policy (if there even is one about opening boxes), they spoke in a harsh, unfriendly way that made us feel unwelcome.
Shopping for shoes should be enjoyable, but this encounter left us uncomfortable and ready to leave without buying anything. Good customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely missing here.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Shoe Depot. While checking out, the cashier, Nikki, touched my new white shoes with her chocolate-covered fingers after eating ice cream. When I politely asked her to be more careful, she yelled at me, which was shocking and unprofessional. I hope the management addresses this behavior.

Mike is the only highlight in this store. He's always friendly and kind. Older white woman is constantly rude to everyone, including verbally berating her staff in front of customers. I wish yall still had the Independence store - at least they were nice!

Went in on Black Friday. Hoping to see some good sale items. They had cell items total of four. But the fine print actually did. Those items was unbelievable. And on top of that it's just an unwelcoming environment.

I was literally trying on a shoe and Nikki charged at me GROWLING at me and started BARKING and then BIT me, i had to go to the hospital because she had rabies, and almost died. Here is a picture of my bite mark! IM SUEING

Wow..... Just wow..... Such RUDE employees!!!! I work in customer service at the same mall and had went in to purchase comfortable shoes for work...... First off I was basically accused of putting a "dummy tag" on the pair of shoes I ended up buying which meant I was trying to get them for almost nothing so I told the lady I didn't put them on the box and she went on and sold me my shoes and then some lumberjack lady ran up behind us to tell us to be more respectful when we come there again bc apparently we left a shoe box in the wrong place...... And she was sooooo hateful to a PAYING customer!!!! My coworker went on to have a quite colorful interaction with the lady behind the counter bc that lady kept it going..... Telling us by doing what we did(which is quite small) that we caused shoe prices to go up and her having to hire more people...... It was a shoe box people and a normal employee does this as part of their JOB..... Where I work we do our job without needing to hire more people and raise prices. I will never buy from this store again bc they are nasty and hateful people.

As I was waiting to check out today, I was talking to my husband. A woman who also wanted to check out was standing to the side of us. She asked if we were in line, to which I was trying to respond she could go ahead of us. Before I could let her know that, the elderly Karen at the register said “come on, come on” then followed that with “ you snooze you lose”. It was all I could do to set down the item in my hand and walk away. Literally SO unprofessional and disrespectful. Teach your employees proper customer service. I will be calling to get the GM’s phone number.
