Drove 20 minutes to the Staples at 135th and Metcalf. Needed one page laminated. At 4:20 pm I was told they weren't able to do it as they were wrapping up for the 7:00 pm closing.

Nobody greeted me upon entrance. Several staff members watched me walk around the same two sections at least three times, clearly confused, nobody offered help. I proceeded to exit the store past them and nobody said anything to me.

They spend more time whining to customers about what they can't do than actually helping people. Been there over a dozen times for their equally garbage self-serve printers with loads of issues and no chance of assistance.Don't go here unless you possess the knowledge and skillset to do the employees jobs yourself.

Today I had a frustrating and unacceptable experience at the Staples store at 7131 W 135th St, Overland Park, KS 66223. I searched online for an office chair mat. Found one for $30.99 and it said there were 34 available. Imagine my disappointment when I drove to the store and there were none out on the floor. I went to customer service and asked about availability. The guy (unfortunately I didn't get his name) said it could be in a box in the back. I asked if he could go get me one and he said no, that there were over 50 boxes in the back and he had no idea which one it was in. He said it could take up to 2 weeks to get through them all. I explained the website showed 34 and that is why I drove to the store to pick it up. He refused to go pull me a chair mat. So I told him I was going to go home and order one online for 1 hour pickup, which I did. Approximately 1 1/2 hours later I received an email stating the item is unavailable. THE WEB SITE SAYS THERE ARE 34 AVAILABLE. NOT 1 or 2 BUT 34! I'm sure the guy just went in and marked the order unavailable so he didn't have to go through 50 boxes to find it. 1) the guy at the store was rude, unhelpful and lazy 2) don't advertise things on your website which are not true (34 available for 1 hour pickup). This might constitute false advertising or bait and switch. I'll look in to that to pursue. 3) no wonder companies are going out of business because people are ordering off of Amazon. When online websites are inaccurate, stores don't deliver on their promises, and staff is rude, unhelpful and lazy, companies only have themselves to blame.

I rarely need printer service but could not get one sheet printed at Staples. I sent the self-help print me request several times without a response. Then I went to the computer and try to have it work and it was going to charge me five dollars for one sheet of paper. The whole ordeal took about a half an hour worth of time on a rush project and although there were many people in the store working, customer service was not of interest to these employees. As a business owner I thought you would wanna know that customers are not treated with care or attention. When I took my project across the street, I understood that this is a common problem that you're having there at that location.

Irritated...BEWARE!!! BE CAUTUIOS.. I purchased a gift from a particular staple store online to be picked up at that specific staple store. Drive out to the store location off of 135th and Metcalf to find out the item that I selected with the help of Melissa was not actually the product that I was picking up. So I explained that to them and that I would need it canceled/returned, what ever they needed to do to return it to release the money they had holding from my account

I live in Chicago and had a special order to place for a client to pick up in Overland Park, KS. Although on line uploading print files is an options, I needed more consulting to get the results I was looking for. I was lucky that Bill answered the phone; he was knowledgeable and extremely helpful in setting up my files to get a full bleed look even though they have laser printing and that's technically not available. He was so patient when I called at least 3 times, and a 4th time to confirm the cost because it was so inexpensive that my boss didn't believe it.Thanks Bill for being awesome at your job!

Great people and always helpful, I've been coming in for years and they are always nice and kind, there were few time delay due to certain issues but overall great operation and management!

I ordered Coastwide Professional paper towels and a paper towel has never angered me more. They are super thin and not very absorbent. The worst part is that they don't tear evenly. Every time I rip a towel off of the roll, only a few tiny piece come off. Definitely would not recommend buying this product unless it is you last resort. So unbelievably frustrating.

This location is AMAZING! There were two ladies that helped me with printing and they were phenomenal. They even helped me with cutting the pages too after they had closed. No one is that helpful!! Highly recommend coming here!! Oh and they're hiring haha.

Went in to get a a screen protector for my phone and they have this fabulous stuff, like liquid armor for your screen. You can take your keys to the screen and not even a scratch ! Very helpful! While they put the stuff on my phone walked round and got some back to school supplies that were very reasonably priced and some good deals too!

Store is messy. General manager looks and behaves like he just completed the 6th grade. Pitiful checkout - no concern for customers. This place will be close within 6mos if they don't replace management

They canceled a print order with no notification. When asked for an explanation they blamed staples dot com for cancelling the order. When I called corporate they explained, no, the store cancelled it. When I called back to the store, they gave two separate explanations. Very unsatisfactory experience.

Tried to purchase some paper and tape today. Stood in line while one checker helped another checker. He left, came back, placed an order on the computer, went back to the other checker. Never acknowledged me. Waited 5 minutes gave up and left!

Props to Jacob in the prints center! I ordered same-day invite cards. Unfortunately, I made them too blurry. Jacob redid them (in 20 minutes) to make them brighter, and checked to make sure. I really appreciated all his help! I wish you guys had a better cutting machine, and brought back the rounded edge slicer in store. I will definitely order cards here again, but maybe ship-to-store for the rounded edges and matte finish.
