I appreciate automation, but having to go through a teleprompt to notify TIAA of a family death is just plain lazy and callous. I would think that would be one time calls could be directed to a human being. Do better.

DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY IF YOU EVER WANT IT BACK. So many hurdles created by them to keep your money and terrible customer service.

They simply do not want you to be able to access your money. I have delt with multiple employees and managers who are paid on retention who make it extremely difficult. Do not recommend.
