Owner is incredibly bold with his attempts at humor and conversation. Has made me feel uncomfortable every time I go in there. Has also made strange, flirty remarks to my girlfriend about “following her into the freezer.”, this is not the first time, and won’t be the last. I would look elsewhere. Plenty of other liquor stores that don’t conduct themselves this way.

Best liquor store around. Have the best prices out of the other liquor stores I've been to in the area and the employees are awesome. Jordan is a whisky/scotch expert with years of experience. Absolute legend.

The owner is a nut job. It’s crazy how aggressive he is to customers. It’s unfortunate because the rest of the staff is very friendly.

I have been a frequent customer of Top Cellars Select for years. I found the staff very friendly. It's conveniently located, and they carried Dots pretzels before the local grocery stores. Those are addicting. :)Fast forward to Summer 2020. We are in the middle of a global pandemic. People and businesses are suffering and our numbers in Kansas are beginning to rise. In the interest of public health, on July 2nd Governor Kelly and the Johnson County Commissioners voted to make masks indoors mandatory. On August 1, 2020, I stopped in to pick up a bottle of wine. The sales associate was not wearing a mask. She greeted me and I asked her "do you not wear masks here?" She answered, "no." I said, "ok", and I immediately left the building.I called the business, and informed the sales associate that by not wearing masks they were in violation of executive order #20-52, and that I would report it to a designated hotline for violations of that order. The associate said, "ok." And the conversation ended.Ten minutes later, I get a call from a number I do not know and have never called. A man asked me if I had called his store and his associate. I said I had and he identified himself as the owner and asked what I had said. I explained the gist of the conversation I had with the associate. He proceeds to berate me and say it's none of my "f***ing business." Yelling, he continues and says, "I have a mandate for you: go f***k yourself and don't ever come back in my store again."

The lady at the counter was really friendly and both very helpful and knowledgeable about the store! I'll definitely be back, for sure.

This place is a reckless establishment. Nobody was wearing masks when I went in.

If I could leave a negative review, I would. Wear a mask you guys, it isn’t that hard.

I love that they DONT enforce the masks. It is a right not to. If you don't like it, leave our community. I love this place and have come here since I was 21. They will order anything you want that they don't carry. Amazing local spot.

Avoid this place like the plague, because they basically don't think Covid-19 is a real thing. None of the employees wear masks. There are so many other liquor stores in the area that actually adhere to the state-mandated mask policy. Top Cellar is defying the order for political reasons. They have the right to make that choice, but you have the right not to patronize their store. I recommend Empire Spirits at 127th and Pflumm as an alternate store.

Wanted to purchase liquor, but noticed many people going in without masks. I asked the girl at the register why she wasnt wearing a mask. I was told this place doesn’t wear masks. My sister called to let them know that they were violating county mandate. The owner called her back and said, “here’s a mandate for you: go f*** yourself.”

I quit going to this store since nobody there wears masks...pretty stupid considering how easy it is to do...oh well...

The store has gone through an unbelievable number of staff this summer. I predict this is related to not allowing his employees to wear masks. I am done supporting my neighborhood store.
