“Very professional and caring. My elderly cat had to be put down, they let me stay with him as long as I wanted to say goodbye. A few days later I received his paw print laminated , a little bottle of his long fur and a sympathy card which was very unexpected. I would definitely recommend it, we went there in the past for grooming appointments and office visits as well.”

The team is incredibly gentle and thorough with small breeds. They take extra time to explain everything (dental health) and Ducky loves when we pull into the parking lot!

“Dr. Probst was a little off-putting, and IMO tried to semi-guilt trip me into more expensive testing that I could get performed at my vet within 12 hours when they were opened.That said, I am sure being a night ER vet is tough, and he did let me dictate the appropriate care for my dog in order to stabilize him until his vet opened (fluids and other meds). Besides the $350 walk-in charge (ERs cannot exist for free unfortunately), the prices were actually not that much higher than my vet for the tx we did (although the suggested imaging is 1/4 the price at my vet, so we waited).All in all, $540 on a Sunday night/Mon. AM and probably helped my dog hang on until we could follow-up at his vet later that day. So, I can't complain. Expensive, yes. But got us through. Thank you Dr. Probst and Hawthorne Animal hospital!”
“Everyone here was extremely kind and helpful. The doctor was amazingly patient with our dog, who was not wanting to be examined despite not feeling well. While waiting we watched the cutest and happiest dogs get dropped off for daycare. Will definitely recommend.”
“We have been to quite a few Banfields through our many moves and travels but I have to say this is my favorite location. The team they have is amazing and understanding. My shepard is the sweetest girl everywhere… except the vet and she turns into an absolute terror. They work quickly for her so we can get in and out fast and are always very understanding here which has not always been the case with many other vets. Taylor is the best vet tech around, I literally sign in relief when I see she’s there when we walk in. Thanks Banfield Metcalf team!”
“I feel like they are giving me and my cat great customer service and they are knowledgeable, but getting your pet taken care of is expensive.. If they are comparable in price I will continue to use do to the quality of care, but I will make sure to ask for pricing ahead of time.”
“Excellent attention from all staff towards pets. Several times I have left my dogs for several days here and they always return perfectly healthy. It is also very good that there are cameras in the place from which you can monitor your pet's activity. In addition, the entry requirements for pets are adequate to ensure that they are vaccinated and thus avoid the spread of diseases or parasites. It is the trusted daycare for my pets.”

“The staff were incredibly friendly and so gentle with my cat. My cat is very flighty and anxious and the staff did so well with keeping her in place without forcing her. I took my cat in to get vaccines and the doctor was great, he was so gentle with her that my cat didn’t even react when given the shot. They followed up with me the next day to make sure she was doing well and not experiencing any complications. Highly recommend!”
