Horrible experience with Kanda! I was preparing to sign the papers for service and I reminded her to not wear perfume when coming to my home to meet, as she knew from the referral that artificial fragrances trigger all of my multiple chronic illnesses and severe allergies, migraines and inflammation. She suddenly turned on me and said she would NEVER ask her employees to not wear perfume when working with clients one on one in their own homes—and that if my disabilities required workers be as fragrance-free as possible, then she was denying me services and that I would need to go elsewhere. This being disability discrimination for denial of medical services for personal care needs, I informed her of this and showed her the laws pertaining to this. She became offended and refused to discuss anything further—thereby again, denying me access to services because I had disability accommodation needs that she didn’t want to hear about or work with. So Kanda and Visiting Angels made it clear that they were fine with discrimination and did not care that they were denying access to services —and that my life, health and safety were of little importance compared to their own perfume. I don’t understand how perfume is worth more than a human life?

Caregiver Valerie R is 5stars, excellent, fun to be around, kind, does all kinds of chores for me, she's great to have around and a great companion. I want her Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm and have requested her for over a month but my wishes have not been respected by the office. I'm very disappointed I service from the office.

My name is Amber Martin, a caregiver for Visiting Angels. My 4 month new journey so far has been wonderful. The clients I have had and their families have all been repectable, down to earth, generous people that just want workers to form positive relationships with them and learn to adapt to their routines and the way they were taught to care for their loved ones. Accountability, assurance, Consistent, Compassion, Courtesy,Reliable ,Respect, is what have carried me roughout my 10 year experience in this profession. Honestly, director Kanda Casteel, and the scheduling team , Courtney Larson, and christie McCullough, have been very respectful to me and have allowed me to miss work while sick as long as I send in a doctor's excuse which had always been a policy in any job I have worked. Also the owner has allowed me to work as many hours I felt I could handle, overtime and all. So, moral to my review is U have to Give Respect to earn Respect back. I believe going an extra mile and above and beyond, and last but not least is patience is a virtue as well.

I enjoy working for visiting angels. One of the things that I love about the company is the flexibility, and the supervisors are very supportive of their employees, clients and families. Communication is key! Helping those in the community puts a smile on my face. I consider all my clients and their loved ones my family as well. It's all about being professional, showing support, keeping clients safe, having compassion for the clients, following their daily schedule and more. (Visiting Angels) They also go over and beyond to make sure clients have coverage to get the appropriate and secured care they need.

We had the pleasure of getting to know the Visiting Angels Caregiver Cassandra while she lovingly served one of our residents at The Welstone at Mission Crossing. She was always friendly and professional with our staff and residents, and it was heartwarming to see her taking such good care of her patient, whom we loved dearly.

Very disappointing service. We had 2 caregivers cancel in the two weeks of service we used them leaving us with no one to cover. Both times we were given no notice.A couple of the caregivers put no effort in and just sat looking at their phones. For $30 an hour we expected more. I only gave two stars because they had a couple of caregivers that were good and helpful to my Mom.

Edit since Visiting Angles replied:
After one of your workers was exposed to covid in 1 house, you sent that worker to ANOTHER house the next day and when she voiced concern about covid exposure she was told to "just wear a mask" so no, you do not follow protocols.
They don't care about employees or customers and they sure don't care about COVID protocols. They are putting their employees and and customers at risk. You would think a company providing care giving services to the sick and elderly would follow strict covid guidelines. Not here!! Find another care giving company to go with

Awful. If you love your family don't use them. Their caregivers are forced to work when sick and can make your loved one worse. The HR department has no consideration for the wellbeing of their clients.
