My first time in this particular Walmart course it took me twice as long to do my shopping because they're all laid out different with that said really no difference in any of the other ones

⭐☆☆☆☆ Walmart Overland Park – The Fort Knox of Retail
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to shop in a maximum-security facility, look no further than Walmart in Overland Park. Need deodorant? Locked up. Razor blades? Behind bars. A can of Spam? Under surveillance. It’s like shopping in a dystopian future where the simplest items require a full background check.
The real adventure begins when you try to actually buy something. First, you must embark on a quest to find the Keeper of the Key. This mythical figure is elusive, wandering the aisles like a retail cryptid. After summoning them, they don’t hand you the item—oh no, that would be too easy. Instead, they march it up to the front of the store, where it is placed in retail purgatory until the One True Cashier can retrieve it.
Yes, you read that right—there is only one cashier overseeing a kingdom of twelve self-checkout stations. And the self-checkout guardians? They are sworn by oath never to leave their post, nor are they equipped with a walkie-talkie to summon help. It’s like a tragic Shakespearean play where everyone is bound by an absurd set of rules.
What should have been a five-minute trip turned into 25 minutes of retail limbo. At one point, I genuinely expected Ashton Kutcher to jump out and tell me I was being punked. But alas, no cameras, no pranks—just Walmart in all its chaotic glory.
If you enjoy unnecessary challenges and testing the limits of your patience, this is the store for you. Otherwise, may I suggest Amazon?

Overall not a bad experience, just slim selections on certain things like windshield wipers or washer fluid. Staff interaction was minimal, but the lady who helped me was kind at least.

The only good thing about this store is the garden center.

Worst Walmart ever. There’s literally only one half of a small aisle dedicated to milk, eggs, cheese, and butter. They are very limited on space and have very few options for any food items.

Gi there with a lot of patience. The place is a special one. Most of the workers unconsequentially thinks of you as a bother.
