I had car trouble on the way through town. T & E Auto Sales and Service took the time to help right away. Personal service, an honest assessment and a reasonable price had me back on the road in a jiffy, and grateful they were there.

I made an appointment with Eddie early this week to get an alignment, oil change and two door handles replaced and was given a $265 quote due to us already having the parts. Dropped the vehicle off at 9:30 yesterday morning and the mechanic instantly shared with us his lack of confidence in his ability to perform the service. Eddie said this would take 2 hours at most. I called to check in five hours later, when I finally got a call back they said the front end had some problems and they couldn’t do the alignment which was fine. We never received an update on when it would be ready. The shop closed and we got a text invoice for a quote to fix front end damage (which we did not ask for) but not an updated quote without the alignment and still no word on when it would be done. Called again this morning, 24 hrs later and Eddie said we’d receive a phone call with an update ASAP. Never got one. Finally called them again at 4pm just for the mechanic to tell us it would be $300 for diagnostic testing (which we did not ask for agree to) the oil change and door handles AFTER taking the alignment off the invoice. Apparently the truck was done at 9 this morning and no one bothered to call. Went to the shop just for the mechanic to say “Don’t bring your own eggs to the basket” condescendingly about us bringing the door handles. When I expressed concern over the lack of communication, the misleading quote/alterations to the price, etc. the mechanic said “Eddie doesn’t know how long the job should take or how much it would cost since he’s a car salesman.” talking about the owner of the shop. This is the worst experience I’ve had with any mechanic shop. Such a scam and I don’t think these people value their customers in any way.

Wish I could put more than 5 stars, T & E Auto were able to help me coordinate a family member's car repair while I was 5 1/2 hours away. They were fast, affordable, and very helpful throughout the whole process.
