I am really trying to have a little hope that things improve but at this point I just dont know. Came here from Hutch for Son to attend Pitt. A month and a half before moving in , I looked at the rental I am in. I chose not to persue at that time due to several issues . Primarily water in basement and the AC lines were Frozen. Summertime and hot as Hades so no thanks. Several trips back and forth from Hutch to view places and returned to this place. Checked it out again and AC still frozen a month later. I notified them again, AC company informed again. a week later I had to return again for service turn ons because Pitt water has to be in person , (More hours wasted driving) and Gas had to be checked. Im again at the house (after aparrent AC company returned again) to find AC running HoTT air blowing , but this time the lines arent frozen, they are just hot. Notified for the 3rd time. Week of move in I ask several times about AC and am assured its good. Move in day arrive to 104 degrees and oh guess what, no AC . Its now been 2 months since I first viewed and the AC is still non functioning. Immediately contact via text calls etc. Nothing. Im 55 years old and unloading a 14 footer with no hope of cooling down. Thanks. I purchased AC's to try and survive as my son and I were on a time line. Wal Mart ACs are not cheap, moving is not cheap. Took 3 more days to get the AC done. Thankfully they replaced the whole thing. Finally I felt like maybe theyd be okay. Fast forward , I have a squirrel in the walls, reported no action for weeks. I had to call to get my lawn mowed after a month, which is in the lease that they cover it. Been trying to get an answer about a refund or some recompense for the amount of money I had to shell out to live in this place without having heat stroke and just get the run around (has to be approved by owner yada yada yada). I understand that this is a college town and they can be a hand full. I am not them , I take exceptional care of properties and I expect to be treated fairly; as I am after all, spending my hard earned money with them. At this point for all the reviews about they are great , good communication etc. I gotta call BS. I really hope this isnt what I get for the rest of my lease. Step it up

We have worked with Pro-X for over 10 years, both as a landlord and as a seller.
As a landlord, we had experienced abysmal service from other companies and were so pleased when we discovered Pro X. The company are communicative, they check-out the renters very carefully before a lease is signed, they always ensure the rent is collected and passed on to the landlord as soon as possible.
If any inside/outside repairs are needed, Pro X gets on to this immediately.
Our renters commented to us on more than one occasion how pleased they were with the service they received from Pro X.
As a homeowner, we have sold two homes through Pro X realty. Once again, we have been seriously impressed with the service we received from their realtor, Barbara Koch and the office. People sometimes complain about the commission charged by realtors, but we have sold and bought seven homes over the last few years and in each case the realtor has more than earned their commission. We live in Florida and sold a home in Pittsburg, Kansas. We were expecting to have to travel to Pittsburg to complete the sale but thanks to the dedication and service from Barbara Koch, that was not necessary. She more than earned her commission on the two occasions that she has looked after us.
We cannot recommend Pro X enough and are happy to give a more detailed recommendation to anyone who is looking for a realtor/property management office.

Do not rent from this company. They avoid any form of communication until last minute. Maintenance takes forever to come “fix” your issues and when they do they just bandaid it. The vent cover on our bathtub rusted and fell off, their solution? They took the longest screw they had and screwed the vent cover back in, WITH the screw going THROUGH the pipe. My unit only ever had hot water for about 15 minutes and in the two years I was there it never got fixed. Wanna know why? Because my unit didn’t have a water heater. They told us they “didn’t know where it was because it wasn’t in the blue prints.” They do not give you a new unit that is move in ready and clean, and will not give your deposit back. I moved in and there was dog hair on everything, stepping one foot on the carpet turned your feet and socks brown, every drain was clogged with lots of hair and gunk. When you try to contact them about said deposit, they avoid you and can’t give you a straight answer. The units are filthy and falling apart and they have no intention of actually coming to help and fix things. When we first moved in they told us one of our burners on the oven didn’t work, and when the guy came to fix it he said “you have three more that work” and then left, that burner is still broken. If you can avoid this company PLEASE do. They are horrible, and everybody I have met in this town says the same. If you have to rent from them PLEASE take pictures/videos when you move in/out and throughout your lease as often as possible so you have proof; however, avoid them like the plague if you are able.

WORST COMPANY. Only lived in their apartments for about 5 months, they took weeks to come and fix the hot water tank when it broke. Then a month later the furnace stopped working and we couldn't get a hold of anyone for about a week even though it was below freezing outside. It then took them another few weeks to even come and look at it, despite me calling regularly. They also do everything to scam you out of your security deposit. They never even claimed we weren't getting it back, they just kept saying they would call us back by the end of the day when we tried to get a update on when or how we would get our deposit back but they never do. It has now been five months since we moved out and we have no hope of seeing our security deposit. I've heard this is a common problem with them. Please listen to the 1 star reviews in this case there is no way the 5 star reviews aren't fake.
