Food Fair is a small town store that is a little expensive but expected. Employees are friendly. There is no bathroom inside but a laundromat next door can be used. OTR drivers find no dock, so they pull pallets to the back of the trailer on the road behind the store and unload with a fork lift. The staff are pleasant and veteran friendly. They sell Champs Chicken, RIBS, PULLED PORK, fresh veggies, and are clean. Cars can be left unlocked with windows down.
Cute little store, friendly service, decent range of items. Some of the deals were great while other items were priced pretty high. I'm sure it is difficult to be competitive with prices of the big chain stores. Overall it is a well needed blessing to have this store to serve the community of Pleasanton. So worth it!

Felt like I walked through my TV into an Andy griffeths episode when I came in here. I think I even saw Opie Taylor hiding the toilet wax ring in the walls behind the bathroom! The food was really reasonably priced and the store had a staggering selection of items. I think I am going to move to this town and get a job here!

A corner grocery store in a small town. Friendly employees. Everyone knows everyone.
