Sweet little guitar shop totally worth the diversion from the bypass on 69 highway between Kansas City and Fort Scott! Swing through the downtown of this sleepy little Kansas town and stop in to what looks like a former Bank building on the corner. You will find dozens of interesting and rare guitar amps and cabinets as well, at least on the day I was there, nearly 150 stringed instruments. There was some low-end used and new, nice pro-level used pieces all the way up to their own custom high-end new pieces including several prototypes. Everything seemed clean and in good shape. Labeling was a bit sketchy as several things were unmarked. The staff guy greeted me but spent my entire visit shooting the breeze with a local friend. I couldn't really tell exactly what the vibe was with the used gear, but it seems like they get lots of hard-to-find pieces, restore them, and could be a valuable resource for both players and collectors. Be sure to pay them a visit and add your own review with more details.
