Dollar General in a small town has what you need for home, family, pets, and simple entertaining (like a family barbecue). Their food quality is much better than people expect. We especially like their frozen fries and their ice cream selection.

The manager follows you around like you're a thief and requires the staff do it as well. All the cashier's complain about it and say it is because the manager is paranoid and always telling them the store has a high theft rate. Every time we have gone in there when the manager is there she has always been extremely rude on top of the following around.
You cannot treat your customers the way she does and expect them to respect you or your store. She discriminates based on appearance (I have actually tested this by dressing differently). Wastes all her time following me around because I'm in sweats with no bra on, meanwhile there's 12 other people in the store and I probably make more than all of them.
Want to fix the issues, get a manager who knows what she is doing. This is why your theft rate is so high and why you have such a high turnover rate.

It’s not to often i walk into a dg and i go into maybe 40 dogs a week. the store and see a store that clean and the shelves stocked. As a warm smile and a friendly welcome from Shelby. She was really helpful in any kind of way she is definitely good at her job.Dg needs to get more ppl like her in there stores.
