It is NOT fast and fresh. This might be the wrong place because at this gas station there was no hy vee thing but it is small and does not have very much stock.

Another disappointing trip to Hy-Vee. I spent 38 of my $50 gift card from NFM buying overpriced merchandise from employees who didn’t know where things were. Vowing never to set foot in the store again I thought it would be easy to spend the $12 Balance by buy gas which should be competitive. I decided to spend it Saturday late afternoon while on my way to visit a friend further south. Guess what at 5:30 on a Saturday they were closed. The gift card would not work without talking to an attendant. The hours posted on this site show that they’re open till seven on Saturday evening.

The only place I get fuel for my cars since they offer ethanol-free premium. I also bring my boats here to fuel because the prices are cheaper than at the lake and my boats can't have ethanol because it's bad for the fuel systems. My only complaint is that they've parked a large smoker in the lot which makes it difficult for me to make the tight turn with my boats on. Oh well, I come at night with them most of the time when traffic is light and just back out of the pumps.

I don't know about this one, you guys. It's a bit of a mirage that you save money with your Hy-Vee receipt because it appears they just raise their price a bit, and the ease of QuikTrip just south on State Line has supplanted this one for me. It's a smaller station, a bit chaotic at times, and just OK overall. It's nice that you can get out onto either State Line or 79th street outside of it, but it's such a heavily congested area that it's never easy. I'm a QuikTrip brand ambassador, so I'll say it's a whole lot easier to go there and get in and out 10 out of 10 times.
