“Am very curious about the history of your store. Was it once Roth Mercantile Store during the depression before my grandparents sold it & moved to Fort Worth, Texas?We know there was a Roth Mercantile store in Russell, Kansas back then because we have an old National Geographic picture of it....Where exactly am not sure since I have never been there, although I have a 1981 letter from Bob Dole attesting to his old friendship with my dad Tony Roth.”

“Was here once in Oct. 2025. Huge sign on side of building facing I-70. Not easy to find coming from the other direction, but well worth stopping. Has a couple of carts, and roomy enough aisles to use them. Big building with lots of great old stuff.”
