“When I first moved to Salina, I needed some hardware for my apartment and I lost a screw from my desk during the move. I took a matching screw into the store, an employee measured it for me and then walked me around until we found a suitable replacement. I would have been in there all afternoon trying to figure it out if they weren’t so helpful. Pricing is fair from what I can tell, and all of the employees seem friendly.”

“We purchased a new Cub Cadet mower yesterday. The belt broke the first time it was used. Called and spoke with Ken the manager who not only offered a new belt to replace it but instead loaded up a new mower and brought it out to us for an exchange.He went above and beyond for customer service and we greatly appreciate it!Thank you Ken.”

“We have been exclusive loyal Lowe's customers for over 11 years. We have completely remodeled 6 houses during this time. We support Lowes because they have always given us a military discount. As a veteran I appreciate it! So we have purposefully not given business to Menards, because they "don't discriminate" meaning no military discount. We don't shop on the internet, because they do not support local businesses,or local employees. We have not regretted it! Lowe's has always taken care of us!! Big salute to the Salina Lowes!!!”

“I had wanted to get new flooring in my home for a long time but hesitated because the job seemed overwhelming. I’m so glad I went to Star Lumber West in Wichita and worked with Audrey Berlin. Audrey was great - she answered all questions and concerns and made sure the whole project went smoothly from start to finish down to every detail. Everyone at Star was good to work with - also Cy the project scheduler and manager and the installers themselves did a great job. I really love the new floor and will use Star for any future projects. I'd recommend Star to anyone.”
