Salina Family YMCA is a comprehensive community center that offers much more than just a gym and swim. It provides programs such as all-day preschool, an After School Program, Summer Day Camps, and youth and adult sports. The facility features a variety of aquatic and land group exercise classes, with many classes running throughout the day, led by enthusiastic and supportive instructors. The gym and pool are kept clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful, making for a positive experience. The pool area is well-maintained, and lifeguard classes are highly praised for their excellent instructors and cleanliness. Childcare services, including Angel Childcare, are known for their happy and positive staff who make children's days enjoyable. Though some minor issues like shower curtains that stay open have been noted, these do not overshadow the wide range of amenities and community atmosphere. Many members stay for the friendships and sense of community that develop at the YMCA.

We stopped here on our way from Colorado Springs to Wichita to stretch our legs and hit the handball around. This is one of the nicest YMCAs I've been too.
