About Smoky Hill Museum
The Smoky Hill Museum is a hands-on, minds-on museum that explores history in unexpected ways with interactive fun. It has a big-city museum feel in a small package, making kids want to stay longer and adults want to come back for more. The museum has over 30,000 artifacts and exhibits drawn from the Salina area. The building has classic architecture depicting Old Salina Kansas. Visitors can enjoy the Curiosity Shop for hands-on experiences and shop at the gift shop for Kansas Grown Products. The museum is a great spot to take kids to get them interested in Kansas history, with friendly faces and a quick tour given upon arrival. It is a free museum with no admission price, just free will offerings, and has extremely friendly and helpful volunteers and staff.

You must see this museum with your entire family and ask for Rosa! Please shop at the gift shop for Kansas Grown Products especially for the upcoming holiday season . Kids love the Curiosity Shop for hands on experiences. Beautiful building with classic architecture depicting Old Salina Kansas.
