“My front seat was stuck in the recline position. I took it to the local Buick dealership. They told me I needed a whole new seat back and quoted me $1300. I wasn't expecting it to cost that much so told them I wanted to get a 2nd opinion and was charged $200 for them to just look at it and give me that quote. My boss suggested Downtown Auto. I took it to them, they said that yes, I did need the whole new seat back. They looked up the cost of the part and then their labor. Their quote was half of what the dealership was. They are honest and fair. I highly recommend Downtown Auto Service.”
“We blew a tire on the highway on our truck, didn’t even call anyone for help as we thought we would have managed ok on our own, a driver for Pomp’s happened to be driving by and immediately stopped to offer help. We are very grateful since our spare was flat, and our jack wasn’t quite going to get the truck high enough off the ground. He very quickly helped us get it changed and added air to the tire. “Lance is a stand up guy. The techs had issues programing my tire sensors. I went to long Mac and they determined sensor was faulty. I went back to Sam's and Lance fixed the issue had me in and out. As well to compensate me. He gave and installed new whiper blades onto my truck I needed. That was equal cost of my dealership diagnostics bill.”
