My experience with CNB Bank has been nothing short of frustrating. Their customer service is abysmal, making it incredibly difficult to access my own account. Not only that, but they seem to take pleasure in charging exorbitant fees for every little thing. What's even more disappointing is their complete lack of responsiveness. I've tried reaching out to them via email and phone messages numerous times, only to be met with silence. It's as if they couldn't care less about their customers' concerns. I urge anyone considering CNB Bank to think twice. Save yourself the headache and hassle by steering clear of this institution. There are plenty of better alternatives out there that actually value their customers.

same experience as others. $450 just to close my account and transfer out of. I feel extorted. Probably why I didn't do it sooner as it was easier to pay the annual fee.

I enjoyed Vision Bank for years. Since Vision Bank merged with Community National Bank, it has been terrible. During the merger my routing number was changed, causing issues with my direct deposit. Also, before the merger, I never paid a single fee, not even an ATM fee. First, I was charged a monthly maintenance fee. After calling I was told my checking account needed to be updated to a newer account type that does not charge a monthly maintenance fee and everything else would remain the same. After the change, I noticed ATM fees were no longer being credited. I was told my new account type does not waive ATM fees and I could not revert to the previous account type. What a joke! ATM fees are more than the bogus monthly fee they just randomly started charging me. The whole experience has been terrible. On top of everything, they closed the Downtown branch, leaving one branch and one ATM in town. I need a bank with more than one service branch or ATM that can be used without expensive fees.

This bank is still operating in the '80's when it was founded. I don't think they have a clue how to do any electronic banking nor do they seem to want to. All correspondence with them must be on paper or fax. Not a good bank to use in today's world. And, they take forever (usually several weeks) to execute purchase/sell instructions for over the counter assets that can be purchased or sold overnight. After I finally get my assets transferred out of there I will never deal with them again.

I want to echo the other reviewer about CNB. It is a wonder I had any money left in my IRA to transfer, after all of their ridiculous fees... It was a total of $100 a year in fees every year to keep my IRA at this bank. As soon as I was able to transfer my money out to a real bank that respects customers more than fees, they hit me again with another $100 fee for the same year, and $150 for all their "work" to transfer my money to my IRA at Chase. My IRA was supposed to grow for retirement, not be an ATM for CNB to take my money....

These people are all about fees and money. I had an account with them for many years and all I ever got was demands for more fees. When I closed the account I was charged $380 in more fees. Avoid this place unless you like people taking your money for Little or no service.
