A few years ago, I transferred my small business account to a different bank because Cap Fed began to charge a monthly fee to all business accounts. We kept the personal accounts there simply because it would be too much work to change even though they didn't offer basic services such as free online check deposits. Now, they finally have free online check deposits but they decline your deposit if you don't have the "name of financial institution" hand written on the back. They have too many rules and don't seem interesting in making the banking process easy. I'd suggest you keep looking rather than settle for Cap Fed.

Slowest Drive through ever. Management needs to do something with this branch. Quicker to go to the target or downtown branch.

They charge non account holders a $5 fee to cash a Cashiers Check, even a Cap Fed Cashiers Check. Steer clear and charge an extra $5 if someone writes you a Cap Fed check.
