City Thrift Shawnee is a popular thrift store known for offering a variety of clothing, books, and other items at good prices. Many shoppers have visited repeatedly, appreciating the store's selection and the affordability compared to retail stores. Notable finds include vintage coats and other clothing, especially during half-price days, which can provide excellent deals. Some customers mention that the store could improve with better cleaning and a more consistent pricing structure, as a few prices may seem high. The store has a friendly and welcoming staff, with many customers expressing gratitude for the employees' pleasant and accommodating attitude, which adds to a positive shopping experience. While the store offers a wide range of items, the dressing rooms are currently unavailable, making it harder for shoppers to try on clothes and ensure proper fit, especially for jeans and dresses. The selection of plus-size clothing is limited, and customers are advised to set aside enough time for thorough browsing. Overall, City Thrift Shawnee is seen as a decent place to thrift, offering great finds and good deals, especially during sales, though it requires some effort and patience from shoppers.
Good selection here. Some items were a bargain while others were horribly overpriced. An example is a small bag of Lego with 4 figures for 3 dollars while a small tub was 80 dollars.

Ive bought a few good pieces of clothing here, however, its very frustrating that they do not have fitting rooms. Came in today specifically to find a pair of jeans only to discover they dont have anywhere to try them on :/

This used to be my go-to thrift store, but whoever is pricing the items is unrealistic. The pricing is way too high on most items, so I quit shopping here. For example, they wanted $25 for a Lodge cast iron pan you can buy new for $15 at Walmart. It wasn’t a vintage Lodge pan—just used and overpriced.
