In and out! Not so great hours, though. Limited to business hours due to location inside of another business.

I’ve been using Genoa at the Shawnee location for several years and I really used to like the service. And the staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, that staff left a few months ago and the current staffs congeniality factor is absolutely nonexistent, condescending and downright rude. In addition, sometimes the coordination of my due dates with the insurance company and pharmacy don’t jive and I get my medication a day or two later than I need it. That can be a big problem for those of us making great efforts to maintain our stability and tend to our mental health needs. I don’t think it is professional to argue with customers about when they need their medication. I really don’t want to go through the inconvenience of finding a new pharmacy that will meet my needs but if this current staff can’t develop some better manners and understanding, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

They're hours say 5pm but they leave before that. I arrived at 4:56, called phone went to vm. Watched pharmacy staff walk out the door at 4:57. They are providing a service to mainly Johnson County mental health patients but any problems or complaints go to their corporate office. If you try to call JCMH to complain they tell you that Genoa is a service that is offered but you can take your script elsewhere...why when it's located at JCMH would i go to Walgreens??

They are providing a service for many people who just cannot afford to get their medications any other way. They help a lot of people.

Incredibly professional and courteous pharmacist. She is great. The woman who answers the phone and runs the register and checkout is about as rude and condescending as it gets!

I've been using Genoa as my pharmacy for 11 months and they've always gone the extra mile to ensure I have my medication. I used to visit the pharmacy in person until they offered ship my scripts to my house. this is perfect for me as I live 40 minutes away and have a typical 9-5 work schedule. the staff are kind and competent, and the facility is very nice. I can't remember a time I had to wait in line. I've always had bad experiences at other pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. whether they lost my prescriptions, refused to stay in contact with either myself or my physician, or simply had long wait times every time I visited, they don't hold a candle to Genoa. it is located inside Johnson County Mental Health Center.

Brought my prescription there because I was assured they will "price match" other pharmacies. They asked how much my pharmacy (Costco) charged and I told them $23.34. I was then told that she wouldn't make any money at that price and charged me $30. At best it's lying - at worst it's stealing. Very friendly staff though.

Hate the staff. They are so incredibly rude & condescending. They're located in the Johnson County Mental Health Clinic & they treat patients horribly. I've spoken with multiple multiple people from there that eventually left because of treatment from the staff.
