I'm glad they're closing. They told me 3 weeks ago if I kept my receipt I could make a return. Now I cannot make a return they've stolen my money. Avoid this place. The discounts are not more than 20% off anyway.

This store reminds me of Sears in its final days. I'm not sure how it is still operating. Many shelves / pegs are empty. The inventory management is a mess -- items that the web site shows to be in-stock at this location aren't. The three employees I interacted with seemed depressed and weren't that interested in helping me find what I wanted (which I ended up ordering on-line from a different vendor.) I saw a lot of "percent off" signs all over the store, but finding actual price stickers was hard or impossible, so I have no idea what the price would be. As such, I decided not to buy anything so I wouldn't get a surprise at check-out. The reason I went to the store was because the product I wanted came up as being available at this location and I like supporting local retailers, but this ended up being a waste of time. I want this store to survive -- heck, thrive -- but it may be too far gone.
I'll end on a positive note -- the yarn selection was good with a lot of variety. It was "25% off", but again, there were no prices posted so I ended up not buying any.

Always kind. They have what we need. I wish they had more staff but I understand the chain has issues. But this location is vital to our creative projects.

Staff ignores and avoids you. If you are able to grab someone to ask a question they are annoyed and rude. Store is always dirty.

They don’t have enough fabric for Me to make my curtains. I asked a lady if I could order in bulk or about ordering it from other stores. She said no, if I want in bulk I need to go to New York. How is this a fabric store but yet can’t get me enough fabric to make curtains?!? The lady was rude. Won’t be coming back to this one!!

I'm not sure what's going on with this store, but when I was in there today I was appalled. The store was filthy- trash all over the floor, dirt and spills, dirty tracks down the aisles, the merchandise was messy. It's been dirty the last several times I've been in, but I've never seen it this bad. So disappointing and sad.

I can understand why JoAnn Crafts is on lists to possibly close. Their service has definitely gone downhill in the past year. I had a coupon good on a sale but not doorbuster item. It took a while, but I finally found some paper that was "sale 40% off". I waited in the line finally got to the front and rang up my item. The clerk said the coupon wouldn't work since it was a doorbuster. The sale sign definitely said "Sale" not "Doorbuster" as many around the store said and it gave the dates of the week (also indicative of a regular sale item). When the store manager was asked about this she said whenever they don't have doorbuster signs they just use the regular ones. You won't know if it's a doorbuster until you ring up your purchase. You are correct if you guessed she didn't even apologize for the misleading sign. In all I wasted 50 minutes of my day trying to use my coupon that only loaded after I picked up my order and was good for that day only. It is not good policy to use regular sale signs instead of doorbuster signs to lure people in to just go ahead and buy it without using the coupon. I know they are counting on people being in a hurry and not paying attention but that still isn't right

The store was a mess, there were bolts of fabric piled on folding tables all over the place, and fabric in random places all over the store. They had an endcap full of yarn with a label that said it was on sale for $2.79ea. When I got to the register they said it was going to cost be $250 because it was ringing up at $8ea. I said that is not what it was labeled as on the shelf, and an
employee went and got the label. Sure enough, in tiny print on the bottom it listed a different kind of yarn (same brand). I asked why they had that label on the end cap when they had it filled with the wrong kind of yarn and the employee literally shrugged. I asked if they were going to fix the label and she didn't really answer me. Needless to say I didn't buy the yarn

Line at the cutting table is a 40 minute wait, mid-day midweek. Not cool.

The man at the cutting counter was very unfriendly, kind of rude I will say because I tried talking to him and he ignored me.
