Is this store closing? It was a disaster!! The worst Joann's I've ever been in. They have boxes stacked, like they have no storage in the building. A lot of the shelves were not stocked with many products or completely empty and most of the ones with stuff on them were very messy.

Basia, at the checkout counter, was so kind and helpful. She went above and beyond the call of duty, to assist me with my purchase, in every way. Shw was so happy, helpful, and pleasant-made my day! Thank you so much, Basia! Your store is lucky to have you.

Store doesn't seem as neat & clean as it used to be. It was always busy every time I went in, but there were very few people there, and it seemed like very few employees. Guess that's why their hours have been reduced to 11am - 6pm daily.The one employee that I did encounter was very nice & the items I wanted were in stock.

Monica was EXTREMELY rude. For someone who isn’t so “perfect” at measurements, she made me feel stupid and embarrassed me as there was a line behind me.

Ensure your items are measured multiple times. I had to return precut foam sold as 72” that is only 71” then the employee cutting fabric swore the foam she had was 72”. It was not. I went back to return, again, a 71” piece sold as 72”. It’s a small thing to steal from consumers and customers by an inch or two but it adds up. No apologies from anyone for the error.

Shout out to Linda! She helped me so much with a project and gave me suggestions on where to go, what to look for etc. She even came to find me on another aisle a few minutes later because she thought of another idea for my project - she was so kind, and helpful (mind you, this was all during the last 10 minutes before they closed) and I just appreciated her so much. They’re lucky to have her!

Order always gets cancelled and they always reroute me to another person. I’ve had multiple 5-figure orders cancelled because of their archaic system. I’m not the only one either check the reviews on online orders. I’m sure this store itself is fine but the company as a whole needs to update their system and customer service.

It's a pretty decent store, though kind of an out of the way trip from KCMO proper. Lots of fabrics and craft supplies.I came in specifically to restock on yarn, and I found most of what I needed. There were several colors I was after that had been picked clean. The prices are on the expensive side, but the things on sale made it a little more reasonable. Definitely use applicable coupons and take advantage of things marked on sale.The employees are nice, but the customers... aren't. There was this unpleasant entitled Karen vibe permeating the whole store and it certainly didn't help that the store seems understaffed and the checkout line is long and slow. I watched the lady in front of me in line literally throw down her merchandise and storm out impatiently.I also have a bone to pick with whoever sets the thermostat. It's very rude to broil your customers and employees. It's like 65°F out, no need to crank the heat to 80°F.Overall, not the best in-person shopping experience, but it'll do.

5 stars but not for you, Joann. Shoutout to the baddie that was sick as ever and was still cashiering after losing her voice. I too, was once a Joann employee, denied the right to be sick. I walked off as a key-holder because I asked for backup as I was literally going to throw up on the counter. Not the same location but honestly throw the whole corporation in the trash. Shame on them. Whoever you are babes, you can and will do better ?

There was no hot water...only cold. They provided no kitchen towels, no coffee filters, no hand towels/wash clothes.There was no key to open the bedroom sliding door to the outside. For the price, the place should have been better than it was. Many places for less money and still a great view

Is this location going out of business or moving? The store itself is rather dirty and aged when compared to other locations. The shelves seem bare which made us think they were getting ready to close this location. We went to check out but the line was so long that we decided to put our items back and go elsewhere.
