The best reason to go to the Lowe's in Shawnee is Matt, the employee, in tools. I have never experienced so much knowledge, care, and professionalism in a big box store such as Lowe's, Home Depot etc. He should be running that store and I told him that. He politely thanked me and turned the conversation back to me and my project. Truly a class act.

I bought one of my purchases ever here. And I am so grateful for the helpful staff member who climbed up a ladder to find it for me on the upper shelf. It is a devise that pumps up my car tires in a jiff. I can add air to each tire in the comfort of my garage, rather than the icy lot of a gas station (where my fingers freeze up in the attempt).

I bought a dishwasher on November 24th and had an install date set for early December. The first install date came and the contractor Lowes uses no call no showed. They rescheduled me for December 27th, and cancelled on me again. A quick google of the contractor that Lowes uses (CRST Home Solutions) showed they have a 1.3 star rating with 150 reviews. At this point it is comical how bad of an experience this was, with many other reviews matching mine. Lowes does nothing to try and make it right. Strongly recommend you use a competitor like Home Depot over Lowes. Its frustrating to even have to waste time writing a review, hope this helps someone. Its also comical to get the equivalent of a "that sucks" from Lowes customer service and there is no offer to even try to make things right.

They need to spread their handicap carts to both entrances doesn't make sense. So I have to walk to the entrance and then walk to the other side of the building to get a motor cart

Bought a flat-top grill to be delivered. The store damaged it during assembly. This changed the delivery date to another week out and was communicated on the day delivery was expected (a week later). New date was a week out, even though a new purchase would be here in 2 days. No priority given to me. Tried to change delivery address locally and customer service rep was not empowered to do so. The only action she could take was to cancel the order. Really? Their new date was 5 days out. I would up cancelling the order. Re-ordering through the Overland Park store and getting delivery in 2 days. I understand things happen. But the store should step up and do something about it. So disappointed in Lowes for not empowering CS reps and not offering any restitution for not keeping their promises (or at least commitments).

This review builds on my last review of how much Lowe's sucks. After selling me a non-working washer, and expecting me to buy another one so that they'd swap out the non-working one for a working one, I told them to just pick this one up. They were supposed to text me and let me know the 4 hour window that they would pick it up. They did not text and did not pick it up. I've now been on old with their "delivery service" line for fifteen minutes. I think I'm going to simply have to file with my bank for a fraudulent charge - which is accurate, since I paid for a functional clothes washer and did not receive one. Good God, what a horrible company. Don't even consider buying anything from them.

7 month disaster! We went to Lowe's to purchase 4 new kitchen appliances. They require their "professional installer partner" to measure everything. When he arrived he promptly dropped our double wall one (which there was nothing wrong with) and broke the glass out of the door. He was also unable to get it back in place. This is the very beginning of a 7 month ordeal. Multiple incorrect appliances. Installer taking a sawzall to our cabinets making it look like a 7th grader did the cuts. Multiple appointments not kept, etc. Lowe's has stopped communicating when I explained that the microwave they put in is NOT what I ordered and paid for. Their excuse: "We ordered the right one". What an absolute fiasco. Do yourself a favor, unless you are going to carry out the appliances and install them yourself, find another vendor.
