Just showed up this morning to the Shawnee, KS location off Shawnee Mission Parkway and Neiman Road. All 4 bays were empty with two techs cleaning them, 2 other guys standing behind the counter doing nothing. I walked in to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I was told that I couldn’t get in for 5 1/2 hours. Remind you that ALL 4 BAYS ARE EMPTY WITH NO VEHICLES BEING WORKED ON. When I asked why it would be 5 1/2 hour wait when no vehicle was in the bay and none being worked on I was told that “at some point in the next hour 3 vehicles were coming in”.
If I did this piss poor level of customer service at my job I wouldn’t have one! In my opinion they shouldn’t either!

Well, I went a few days ago to align a car, the problem was that they didn't do it for one part, but even so, they charged me $100 for the inspection. I went to another place and they inspected it for free!

I had a wonderful experience at Midas Shawnee Location with ZACH being the manager. I called days in advance for my oil change and of course they always do a look over other things. I had some filters changed a oil I need something else but I'll get it in a few weeks. This location is close to home so I really enjoy being able to go and get service you can trust. Pretty decent in timing depending on what you get done. Zach says Call a day in advance that way if they have to order parts they can have them there for you.

Second time coming back in a month and pleased both times. Wanted to get a second opinion on my rotors the first time coming in and they verified they were okay when their competition was trying to get me to replace them early. They were able to squeeze in a brake fluid change quickly before I left town and quoted me for a bearing that was going bad that I didn’t know about that wasn’t disclosed by their competition. Very happy to know about a part going bad before it left me stranded somewhere. Came back now for my second visit to get the bearing replaced and they were able to get me in right away same day. Very friendly staff and fair pricing. They do honor first responder discounts and veteran discounts which helps some of the pain of maintenance costs.
Another month after getting a 20% coupon to review initially I came back for a squeaky sound on rear break pad. Was told one caliper locked up and made rotor un serviceable. Rear rotor was okay but wouldn’t release car to me. Upcharged me on parts and labor. Will not be coming back. Checkout a local mechanic that isn’t trying to pump up their shop with fake reviews and pushing sales.
